Daddy

"DADDY!" My two year old daughter yelled running down the hallway of the airport.

Shawn chuckled picking her up. She pecked her cheek and smiled back at me.

"Did you miss me?" He asked sitting on the airport chair.

She nodded wrapping her arms around his neck.

"And how bout my beautiful wife?" He asked me kissing my cheek.

"Of course" I smiled.

We got up and headed home. Shawn was only home for the week because of the tour. It sucked for him not being with us all the time but the music was good and the money helped.

"Daddy, daddy guess what!?" My daughter yelled.

"What's up baby?" He asked.

"I know my abc's!" She giggled.

"Alright baby" he replied high fiving her. "Let's hear em"

"a, b, c, d, e, f, g h,- uh. I can't remember" she pouted.

He chuckled shaking his head. She giggled and nestled her head into his neck. She fell asleep and he put her to bed. We walked down stairs holding hands as he placed a gentle kiss on my neck. We settled on the couch watching tv for a while.

"I missed you so much" I said cuddling into his chest.

"I missed you way more" he smiled.

I smiled back and kissed his chest.

"Daddy!" She screamed.

He sighed getting up. He turned around to look at me and smirked.

"She's not the only one that's gonna scream daddy tonight"
