People gathered around the booth waiting for Shawn to perform his song. I waited patiently behind the counter trying to see his face as it got surrounded. It was his friends and couple strangers, mostly girls. I don't blame him, he's beautiful.

"Okay guys I'm Shawn Mendes I'm from Pickering and I'm gonna play you a song dedicated to a special someone" he said clearing his throat.

I took a sip of my coffee and sighed.

He sounded nervous.

"I love it when you just don't care, I love it when you dance like there's nobody there. So when it gets hard don't be afraid, we don't care what them people say. It was so beautiful I couldn't believe how the final cut came out. What an amazing talented person. The crowd looked around the room to see who he was staring at. They all looked at me. Some looked like they were mad and some looked in awe. They began to clap for Shawn and soon walked out of the diner. Everyone was gone, except Shawn.

"Oh my god, Shawn that was absolutely amazing! I'm so proud" I chuckled hugging him.

He smiled and hugged me back.

"Now was that special girl in the room?" I asked oblivious.

"Yeah" he replied looking at the floor.

"Oo, oo! Was she so happy and excited to know it was for her" I asked.

"I think she will be when I tell and kiss her" he replied pulling my waist close to his.

I looked at him confused and felt butterflies go through my stomach. He leaned in Pressing his lips on mine making my stomach do a hundred flips this time. When he let go, I let out a sigh of relief and a chuckle.

"Wow"

He chuckled and scratched the back of his head.

"That was for m-me?" I stuttered.

"Of course" he smiled.

"It was so beautiful thank you" I said kissing his cheek.

"Is it too soon to ask you out" he asked.

"Too soon? Not soon enough" I teased.

He chuckled.

"It was really beautiful Shawn and I appreciate it more than anything" I smiled.

He intertwined our fingers together and smiled looking up into my eyes.
