I walked down the school steps waiting patiently for Shawn to come pick me up. He usually gives me ride since we live right next to each other. I looked at the clock on my watch and sighed. I tapped my foot and shook my head in disappointment it's been thirty minutes. I began to walk home instead. He never forgets to pick me up because he always comes from the hockey rink for practice.

Me: it's fine

Shawn: you're not mad?

Me: no, you don't have to pick me up everyday

Shawn: I know but still, like you're my best friend and I let you down

I threw my phone on my bed laying down. I didn't know what to do this weekend and I really wanted to do something with Shawn because last weekend he blew me off. I got another text from Shawn.

Shawn: you wanna go to a party?

Me: who's

Shawn: y/n, you know him it's okay

Me: just tell me who it is

I slid on my black dress with lace sleeves. I fixed my red lipstick and smiled in the mirror. The doorbell rang so I quickly grabbed my purse and phone running down the stairs. I opened the door finding a very handsome Shawn in a button up and some khakis.

"Did you dress up for Skyler?" I smirked.

"No, did you dress up for Cameron?" he smirked back.

I shut and locked the door behind me.

"No" I scoffed.

He chuckled and opened the car door for me. I sighed sliding in as we headed down the road to where the party was. I hated Carter. He would always throw the biggest parties and somehow someone always gets caught. He also cheated on one of my best friends.

the smell of alcohol and weed filled my nose as we entered the house filled with people. I saw my friends Maggie and Jacquie standing in the corner with some guys.

"Please be careful, but I'll be here if you need me" shawn said grabbing my arm before I could leave.

"Okay mom" I groaned.

"I'm daddy" he replied smirking.

"Ew, you're such a fucking weirdo" I laughed.

He chuckled and we made our separate ways.

"Hey guys" I smiled at the group of people.

"OH my god! y/n! You have to meet Tanner!" she said introducing me to this tall dark super gorgeous guy.

He shook my hand smiled.

"Nice to meet you" he said.

"Nice to meet you too" I replied.

I was drunk. Heavily drunk. I looked around the room trying to find Shawn. I couldn't find him anywhere. The room felt like it was spinning and I wanna to lie on the floor.
