I looked over the lunch tables eyeballing Shawn and his new girlfriend. Shawn and I dated for two years and he leaves me because I'm boring. I was obviously heartbroken because he was the love of my life but I'm over it now. I'm over him.

"Y/n you need to forget him" my friend Emily said holding my hand.

I looked again as he makes awkward eye contact with me. She grabbed his cheeks Turning his face towards her instead kissing him hard. She did that on purpose. I fucking hate him. I scoffed shaking my head. I shuffled in my seat picking at my food sitting in front of me.

"y/n?" my friend said shaking my shoulder.

"Sorry, I just hate him more then anything in the world right now" I sighed.

"No, you miss him and that's okay" she replied.

"I DON'T MISS HIM!" I shouted.

The whole lunch room focused on me especially Shawn and his girlfriend. My cheeks turn red as I ran out of the room. Emily tried to follow me but I just ignored her.

I paced back and forth as I made my way to my locker. I pretended to grab some of my books and felt a pair of hands on my shoulders.

"Leave me alone, Emily" I said rudely.

I turned around and met a pair of eyes that I've missed more then anything.

"Are you okay y/n?" Shawn asked holding my shoulders.

I shuddered at his touch. I turned around to my locker and shut it close.

"Of all people, why do you care?" I asked rudely turning back towards the parking lot.

"Because I still care about you even if you don't think so" he replied.

I sighed shaking my head. I don't care. Like Emily said, I need to forget him.

"Y/n!" He shouted chuckling under his breath.

"Please leave me alone Shawn-"

"Do you miss me?" He asked unexpectedly.

"what?" I said.

"Do you miss me?" He repeated stopping in front of him.

I looked at the floor holding my purse to my chest tightly.

"It's okay if you do" he chuckled trying to look me in the eye.

I tried to walk past him but he stopped in front of me.

"I miss how you wanted me" I mumbled.

He looked at me with hurt eyes as I ran towards my car. Tears fled my eyes as I drove home. I didn't think I could be so sad. I do miss him. More then any girl could miss there ex. He meant so much to me, and he just broke up with me for the stupidest reason ever.

I wiped the tears from my eyes as I sat on my couch eating ice cream. I heard the doorbell and quickly ran over opening the door to a sopping wet Shawn. I looked behind him as the rain heavily hit the ground. He panted hard looking me deep in the eyes. 

"If you still love me now is the time to let me know" he sighed.

I looked at the floor and he lifted my chin making eye contact with me. His beautiful dark brown orbs staring into my body. 

"Mostly when we touched, we touched so light. Mostly when we kissed, we kissed so hard. Mostly when we talked, we talked so slowly. And mostly when we fell, we fell like cards" he said stepping inside creeping up to me cupping my face.

I looked up into his eyes and gasped at his beauty.

"I never left you. I left a situation that wasn't bearable anymore, and I regret more then anything in the world" he finished.

Everything that he just said to me was so beautiful I couldn't contain myself. I jumped into his arms kissing him harder then ever before. Everything felt like it was falling into place perfectly, we restarted into something better then before.
