Chapter 10.

"Oh my God!" I exclaimed as I saw him.

My heart was racing so fast that I could barely comprehend what was going on.

"I'm sorry." He said with a gentle smile on his face. "I didn't mean to scare you." He continued.

"Um...that's, okay, C-Collin what are you doing here?" I asked terrified.

"I just wanted to apologize for my brother's behavior the other day." He said.

"How do you know where I live?"

"It's a small town." He said still smiling.

He was a really nice guy, although I was terrified at first when I saw him. He was polite, kind, helpful, he asked me if there's anything he can do for the harm Declan caused to me and Nina. I don't know why but I got caught in the moment, and asked him.

"Would you like to go to a party?"

"Are you sure?" He asked, with a smile forming on his face.

"Yes." I said smiling back at him.

After few minutes of talking I invited him inside, introduced him to my friends, did my make up very fast and we were ready to go.

No one said a single word ever since they saw Collin. They knew what he was and they were scared I could tell.

We were on the road, Nina was sitting beside me and Andrea and Collin were sitting in the backseat.

Nina started whispering. "How could you invite him to a high school party?"

"He's not gonna eat you N." I whispered back.

"Well he might!" She said. "He's a 400 year old vampire for crying out loud."

"347 actually." Collin corrected. Both of our eyes widened at his response.

"Vampires have a very high sense of hearing." He continued. "And I don't mean to be rude or anything but I could hear everything you just said, and I don't want to ruin your night so I'm just gonna go." He said and opened the door ready to jump.

"No!" All three of us yelled and he immediately closed the door and I stopped the car.

"It's okay, I won't die." He innocently said.

"Collin, I'm sorry, she didn't mean what she said." I apologized.

"No she's right." He protested.

"I'm sorry." Nina said. "I have no right, I don't even know you." She apologized.

"So we're all good? Can we go?" I asked and they all nodded.

Andrea came closer to Nina's ear and whispered. "He's hot you idiot, let him come." I saw Collin smile from the mirror and I smiled too shaking my head.

"Shut up Andy, you have Lione" Nina said.

"I have no one." Andrea said back and smiled awkwardly at Collin.

We arrived to the party and everyone was dancing and drinking, we saw Lisa and I introduced her to Collin as an old friend.

"Hey guys." Evan said as he walked towards us with a drink in his hand. We all greeted him back.

"Evan this is Collin, Collin this is Evan." I introduced them to each other since Evan wasn't at my house earlier.

"Hey." Collin said.

"Collin? You mean the vampire dude?" He asked.

He was drunk. Clearly. Evan never acts like this, except when he's drunk.
