It was just yesterday that the guys asked me to choose between them. I needed advice, I needed someone to talk to. I needed my girls. So I texted them from our group chat 'Red Code' this meant that there was a serious emergency and they need to come right over. Whenever either of us had an emergency we texted this and we knew immediately what to do.

"Hey baby." Lione said and walked towards me and gave me a kiss on the forehead. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

"I'm okay." I said followed by a sigh.

"You don't seem okay." He said making a face that basically meant spill the beans.

"It's just that it's too much pressure, you know, the ritual is in two days." Which I had totally forgotten about. "And the traveling and everything else that happened yesterday." I trailed off.

"I know, I know, it's all too much at once."

"Exactly." I said realizing that he understands what I'm going through.

I figured if he understands this, maybe he could help me with the choosing. My uncle has always been so wise, he gave the greatest advice, and he's a cool uncle, so I thought why not talk to him about it.

"Hey Lione?!" I started, and ended up telling him what happened.

"Close your eyes." He said. I gave him a puzzled look. "Just do it, do what I say." He said.
"Close your eyes, and imagine your happy place, imagine him coming from behind you and wrapping his arms around you, and kissing you and you feel what you've never felt before. Now open your eyes." I did as he said. "Who did you see?"

"I-"

"Don't tell me, tell him." He said. "Because the person you saw, is truly the one you love." He continued.

"Lione." I said in awe.

"Now you know." He said and winked at me.

I can't believe it was him all along and I didn't know it.

My thoughts were interrupted when I saw Nina and Andrea run into the house panting.

"We brought chocolate, ice cream." Nina was saying out of breath.

"And some salty... snacks ... in case, you know." Andrea added.

I couldn't help myself but laugh at their image.

"Thanks guys but Lione already helped me out... A lot!" I said.

"What?" Nina said disappointed.

"Since when does he help you out with your Red Code?!" Andrea said upset. And the both of them sat down on the counter and started eating the snacks they brought. The sight of them doing that was hilarious.

"Hey Mick, guess who's in town." Jordan said coming into the kitchen. I haven't seen him this happy since all of this started happening.

"Who?" I asked excited.

"Me!" Said the voice and came in quickly. I knew that voice.

"Tristan!" I said happily and jumped on him and hugged him so tight as he twirled me around.

Tristan is my cousin from my mom's side. He's my aunt's aka my mom's sister's son. They live in the next town and we only see each other on holidays and special occasions. So you can see why we were so happy and surprised that he's here.

"What are you doing here?" I asked still so surprised.

"I'll tell you that later... I missed you." He replied.

"I missed you too, come meet my friends."

"Okay." He said simply and followed me to the counter.

Tristan is probably the most friendly person i've met in my whole life, he's always making new friends and getting to know people wherever he goes. The only reason that he never got to meet my friends is because when they visit us during holidays, my friends are usually out of town during that time. He has only met Evan and Aiden once last year and they became quite good friends, they speak to each other once in a while and catch up.

"Girls, this is my cousin Tristan Pelt, the one I always tell you about." I stated.

"Wow you talk about me, how nice." He joked.

"Tristan, this is Nina Holt and Andrea Alonso, my best friends."

"Nice to meet you." They both said.

"Pleasure's all mine." He said and shook hands with them.

He is such a gentleman, if he weren't my cousin I would most probably date him. No forget about that, that's just weird.

It was 7:30 pm and we had decided to go to the Red Grill, our town's most famous grill and our usual hang out place. The girls went home to change a few hours ago and we texted the guys as well to meet us there.

I took a shower and got dressed, I did my hair and put on a little make up and made it downstairs. Tristan was sitting alone watching tv in the living room.

"Hey." I said and sat down next to him. "You okay?"

"Yeah." He said, it was the first time I ever saw him like this, he rarely was upset.

"Hey, you never told me how you're here." I changed the subject.

"There's a vehicle with four wheels that takes you to wherever you want to go." He said sarcastically. He was hilarious too.

"Ha-ha, I mean you never visit us without aunt Mary and uncle John, and only on you know-"

"Holidays, special occasions." We both said that last part together and laughed.

"I needed to get away." He said.

"How come?!" I asked.

"I know about you." He said and my eyes widened and I froze without being able to say anything else.
