It's been two weeks since Layla had her argument with Travis, and they weren't even addressing each other's presence. Also word around the camp was that Travis and Sally were talking and Layla was a little angry about that. Luckily Hunter did speak to Layla after the whole Grey' Anatomy drama that happen in the cafeteria. Also Layla and Asia were getting a little closer, even though Asia agreed with everything that came out of Sally's mouth. The group competitions are about to begin as well, and those are the competitions were you when cash and gift cards. Although Travis and Layla weren't speaking Collin made it his mission to always say hey to Layla especially if Travis is near. Layla knew what Collin was doing, but it wasn't going to work because Travis is too proud to apologize for anything he does. Then if time could be any worse to have a grudge against him Layla's group was about to face Travis and Collin's group on a military course. As both groups made there way towards the course Layla saw Sally and Travis walking together, and even though they weren't close it still made Layla a little jealous. Suddenly she felt arms hugging her, and she knew it was Collin. Colin was slim tall and dark, and had a beautiful smile. Collin said jokingly, "Awe best friend don't be mad at my nigga he just in a phase that's all". Layla didn't know that her expression was that noticeable? One thing she did notice was the sneers from Collin's groupies. She pushed Collin and said, "No one is mad about anything, my head just hurts a little". Collin laughed and said, "Yeah your head hurts alright". Layla noticed Asia was looking at Collin and smiling, but she kept it to herself.
They finally made it to the military course and the groups lined up and were getting ready to begin. The course had seven obstacles, and the group that does the course ten times or higher wins a cash prize worth two hundred dollars, and a TV for the cabin's living room. Everyone got really excited to know that they could be able to watch TV, and everyone really began to stretch before starting the race. So once everyone finished stretching the whistle ranged to begin the race. At first the other team was in the league, but they didn't finish the third course correctly, so they had to start back over on the third obstacle, which made them neck and neck with Layla's group. After the third time for the groups to go around it was getting terrible. Everyone out of each group went at least three times which makes eighteen times for both of the groups. The other group's counselor was about to say it was a draw, but crazy ass Stacy didn't want us to stop and said "They're building up strong metabolisms by working as hard as they do, so let them finish". Everyone gave her a crazy look as if she was really insane. So the groups went five more times until dinner finally came and the other group's counselor forfeited for his group, so that they could at least eat before it had gotten really late. Everyone was soaked in their sweat, and everyone grabbed their water bottles and threw water on themselves. Stacy was really shouting for joy saying, "You guys that means that you've won the cash and the TV aren't you guys so excited". They just rolled their eyes angrily at her for making them continue the military course for so long. As both groups made their way to the cafeteria Layla stopped because she could feel that she had to throw up. Asia turned and stopped with her and Layla eventually threw up the water that she had drunken. Stacy told Layla she would have to skip night work outs, dinner, and that the nurse will bring her water and crackers to her cabin. Asia stayed with her a little while, but Layla told her that she can't eat because she was sick, and Asia went off to go eat her dinner. Back at the cafeteria Sally was spreading so many rumors and lies the devil had nothing on her. Sally said to the groupies, "Yes sweethearts I'm sorry to break it to you, but Travis is taken because he is with me". Asia said to herself, "Sally ain't gone stop lying till she dies".
Travis and Collin were sitting at another table in the room and the groupies left Sally so that they could sit next to them. Collin noticed that Layla wasn't in the cafeteria, so he tried to ask Sally where she was, but she was too busy pushing up on Travis. Collin definitely knew not to ask Hunter, so he made his way towards Asia and sat beside her. Asia looked to him and said quietly, "Yes". Collin said smiling, "I know you don't know me, but I was wondering if you could tell me where my dear friend Layla would be". Asia said nervously, "Um ... see she ... uh... Suddenly Collin grabbed Asia's hand and said kindly, "I'm sorry if I drilling you and making you nervous, listen you ain't even got to tell me I know she straight, thank you for at least hearing me out though ma". Asia began to blush as he walked away back to his table with Travis and all the groupies. That's when Asia began to fall for Collin, and she was falling hard. Collin sat back at his table and started eating his dinner. Travis asked concerned, "So did you find out what was up with Layla". Collin just shrugged his shoulders, "Just know that she straight wherever she is at". Sally noticed that they were talking about Layla so she tried to change there subject by saying how they lost the game to her team. Sally wasn't really worried about winning the money and the TV, her main objective was actually having Travis all to herself, and she knew that if she wanted to win him over she would have to work hard, but play harder. So Sally always made sure she touched Travis' arms to show that they were more than friends to all of the groupies. Collin noticed, but he really didn't pay much attention to her really.
Dinner was over and everyone made their way back to their cabins. Sally and Asia returned to the cabin and Sally made it her business to brag about how she and Travis were getting along very well. And you just don't know how badly Layla wanted her ears to fall off that night. Sally was in a rant rampage, like her words literally were extra loud that night. You could really tell that Asia was getting annoyed as well. Finally Sally went to sleep and everyone could finally have a peaceful sleep without any noise. And the next day everyone went straight to breakfast because the counselors had a meeting that morning and everyone became very excited. Layla sat with Asia that day and Sally went straight to the table where Travis and Collin were, and surprisingly Collin stayed at his table letting Layla get to know Asia a little better. Asia was actually Asian, and black and she had the most beautiful brown eyes. She told Layla that it was hard for her to make friends because people wouldn't want to approach her because she seemed intimidating, and very secluded. Layla had finally understood why she tried so hard in developing friendships with everyone; she just wanted friends like anyone else. Layla was so happy that she and Asia had their conversation, and Layla expressed to Asia that she needs her own voice, and to stop agreeing with Sally, because sometimes people need you to tell them that they are wrong. After their talk Layla felt like a new friendship between her and Asia was about to begin.
