Today was the day for all the groups to have a break, and go camping out for one full day. Everyone met up with the other groups to prepare walking to their camp out areas. Collin and Travis were both standing next to a guy name Jonah. The girls in their group were all chubby, but they were losing their weight and you could tell. As Stacy and Allen started to explain where our groups would be camping out, they told us that if we got lost that we all need to do is to blow the whistles they provided for us. Collin said jokingly, "Can we use these if one of the girls tries to rape us or something". One of the chubby girls in their group said jokingly, "Yeah like we really want to rape you Collin". Everyone began to laugh, except the counselors. Allen said sternly, "Well if you are in that type of danger we would know of it before it happens". Sally said annoyed, "There is no way possible to detect a rapist for all we know it might be someone hiding in the forest waiting for some innocent people to kill". Layla just rolled her eyes at Sally's comment and said, "Well that won't ever happen, and I'm starting to think that some people want that to happen". Sally just kept ranting on about how rapist and murders know where to catch victims.
The walk to the area wasn't very long, though everyone was a little tired. Stacy and Allen told everyone to unpack their sleeping bags, and put them in the tents that where already set up. There were two huge tents that were setup, and their area was posted near a river bank. Travis said to Jonah annoyed, "I can't really be in the same room as Hunter, but now they want me to sleep in the same tent as him, they got to be wildin". Jonah laughed and shrugged his shoulders putting his sleeping bag on the ground. Collin started pulling his sleeping bag out saying, "Well nigga you either sleep out side with the friendly flies, or sleep in the same room with somebody standing in the way of you getting your girl, and right about now sleeping with bugs don't sound like a good idea". Layla finally got her phone charged, so she asked Asia if she wanted to take pictures with her by the lake. Asia agreed, and she and Layla started taking selfies by the lake. As they were taking their pictures Collin, Travis, and Jonah walked over to them. Collin tried to jump in their picture, and Layla was about to tell him to move, but she saw that he was hugging Asia, and Asia looked as if she was in heaven. After they finished taking pictures they had to go and collect sticks for the fire they would have at night. Before they went Sally tried to talk to Travis when he was alone, but as she approached him he blew her off and got up to walk away. Sally couldn't believe it, and for the rest of that day she had a huge attitude.
As they were looking for sticks the groups had eventually went on their own paths. Hunter, Jared, Carlos, and the other chubby three chicks were all on the other side of the forest. Hunter was looking confused and he realized that they all drifted apart. Collin elbowed Travis and said, "Hey haven't you noticed half of our group is missing". Travis looked around and said, "Oh man now what we gon do"? Jonah said, "Yeah ya'll I think it's going to rain too, so we need to find everyone as soon as possible". And as soon as he said rain it started to rain, and it rained really hard. Everyone got separated again, and this time it was one girl with one guy. Jonah ended up with Sally, Collin ended up with Asia, and finally Travis ended up with Layla. Jonah and Sally ran in a shed, and Collin and Asia ran underneath a huge tree that block most of the rain, and Travis and Layla ran to the boating house east of the river bank. Sally was upset because her hair was curly and wet, and Jonah had to suffer hearing her complain, and her whole life story about her hair. Under the tree where Asia and Collin were Asia began to shiver, so Collin took his hoody off and put it on Asia. She was a little against it at first, but she gave in. Collin said kindly, "I'm glad you let me take care of you". Asia smiled, and they stayed under the tree waiting for the rain that was pouring. Layla and Travis were really soaked because they went the opposite direction when it started raining. Travis said jokingly, "Well we would be the ones getting lost together huh". Layla just smiled and shrugged her shoulders as she tried to find something in the boating shed supply closet.
