He cheats (part 2)

I arrived at Zoe's house and wiped away the resent tears before getting out of the car. This time the cold air didn't bother me. Instead it calmed me as I walked up to the door. I pulled the spare key out of my pocket and put it in the door.

I was welcomed by a cheer filled hello from Zoe as I shut the door.

'Alfie's back but he promised he would bother us. He said Joe went home early.' Zoe called out as I put her keys back in the bowl.

I stopped outside the room and double checked no more tears where rolling down my cheeks before entering the room. I held up the bag of crisps and put on a fake smile.

'Yes finally. I'm so glad you got them now.' Zoe said grabbing the bag and opening them.

'That makes one of us then.' I mumbled under my breath.

'Did you say something?' Zoe said turning to face me for the first time since I came back.

She gasped and got up. What was behind me!

'Tell me now. You've been crying.' She said before pushing me onto the seat and facing me. When Zoe wanted to know something she usually got straight to the point.

I thought back to what happened about eight minutes ago. I could feel my eyes beginning to tear up. He was kissing her, not me her. He wanted her, not me.

I single tear ran down my face as Zoe got up and hugged me.

'You need to tell me what has happened.' She said pulling out from the hug and looking me in the eyes.

I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out.

'He.....' Was all I could manage to say.

How could he. He promised he would never hurt me. I was torn apart.

'He? Um....Wait! Was it Joe? What did he say, he can be a dick when he's drunk.' Zoe said thinking she had cracked the case.

I shoke my head wishing that was the reason I was crying. Maybe than I would be able to think straight. All I can think about is him kissing her, pulling at her clothes.

'He... He ch... He was...' I said unable to bring myself to say it.

'He what come on y/n you need to tell me.' Zoe said.

I wiped away my tears. 'He....cheated on me.' I said shuddering at the words which came out of my mouth.

Zoe's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. She put her hand over her mouth and shoke her head.

'How? Why?' Zoe said her eyes beginning to tear up.

'I don't know Zoe. I saw him. I was going to say goodnight and ended up seeing a girl with him.' I said holding back the tears threatening to fall again.

The door slowly opened and I turned to see who it was.

'Hi girls I'm sorry. I know I wasn't suposed to disturb you but Joe said he was coming over.' Alfie said walking into the room.

'Don't let him in.' Zoe told him.

'Why?' Alfie said with a puzzled expression spread across his face.

'Just don't.' Zoe said.

Just as Alfie began to stand up the door bell rang. We all stayed sitting down. Seconds later someone began pounding the door.

'Zoe, ALFIE, ZO. I NEED TO SPEAK TO Y/N.' We heard Joe shout from behind the front door.

'Y/N PLEASE I'M SORRY. I LOVE YOU.' He shouted.

'I'll get rid of him.' Alfie said getting up.

We then sat in silence waiting for Alfie to dismiss Joe. Suddenly someone ran into the room, but it wasn't Alfie, it was Joe.

'Y/n please I didn't mean to. I promise.' Joe said crouching down and holding my knee.

Alfie walked into the room to receive a death glare from Zoe.

'I tried to send him away but he ran past me.' Alfie explained.

'Y/n please give me one more chance. I need you.' Joe said beginning to cry.

I wiped away the stray tear which ran down my face and Joe wiped away the one which threatened to fall.

'Please trust me y/n. I love you.'
