You adjust your bag strap as you look at Wonwoo from a few steps away, since he wasn't paying his full attention to you, you were able to admire him from afar. You look down at the note in your hands, rereading each sentences multiple times in your head. You scan through his features once again, his attractive pair of eyes made you fell for him instantly from the beginning. Today you decided to confess your feelings to him, you already knew that he was going to reject you, but you just needed to lift that weight off your chest.

"H-Hi Wonwoo" You try your best to look into his eyes but your shyness made you look away.

"What do you want?" He said coldly.

"Uhm..." You suddenly forgot how to speak.

"Hurry up, I don't wanna be seen talking to you" He rolled his eyes, sighing.

You bravely bring your eyes up to Wonwoo, locking eyes with him. You held back your tears, forcing yourself not to feel hurt, which was the hardest thing to do.

"I- I..." You stuttered as a tear left your eyes, rolling down your cheek.

You didn't know how to face him anymore, your face grew red with embarrassment. Without a second thought, you turned around and ran away, away from him.

Those tears won't stop falling, those hurtful words that was said from him really stabbed your heart. Your tears were warm, swiftly sliding off your cheek, they were also blurring your vision.

'I'm so stupid'

'I should've known...'

'He's the kinka of the school, he wouldn't have liked me'

'I hate myself...'

Your breathing gets heavier and heavier as you won't stop crying, no matter how many times you've wiped your tears, your face would still be wet. You decided to go home and skip school for a day, but you wanted to see him one last time before leaving, the guy who just broke your heart.

*Wonwoo's POV*

'Was I too harsh towards her?'

'Nah, I don't think so'

'But she was crying though...'

'Aish, I'll just apologise to her tomorrow'

I was about head to class until I notice a small note on the floor. It stood right in front of me, so why not? I picked it up and read what was written on it.

You're probably gonna think this is a joke, I don't even know why but I really like you. We barely even talk to each other but my heart flutters every time I see you.

I stared at the note, dumbfounded. What is this? Thank god she left, if she was still standing here I wouldn't even have known how to respond without hurting her feelings. And what was going on in her mind? Thinking that I would like her back after reading this? HELL TO THE NO.

*Wonwoo's POV*

I've been looking everywhere for her but she was nowhere to be seen, I tried asking her classmates if she was present at school today which was a difficulty because I didn't even know what her name was, I had to describe how she looked like and I always got the same response.

It was either...

"Oh the nerd? Who cares about her?"

Or,

"Uhh... Who? I don't know"

I let out a sigh, I guess I'll apologise to her tomorrow then.

[The day after that]

*Wonwoo's POV*

Why is she still not at school today? I stared longly at the seat where she usually sits, it was empty.

"Hey"

"Wonwoo-ah!"

"Hellooo?" Someone shook my shoulder, I flinched as I turn to face that person.

"Oh it's just you" I let out a relief sigh.

"What's wrong with you? You seem a little off recently" Mingyu asked worriedly.

"Nothing wrong! It's just..." My words trailed off.

"It's just what?" He raised his brows.

"It's just... Aish never mind" I said and return to look at her empty seat.

"Why do you keep looking at Nona's seat? You're so weird" He frowned and continues to look at me weirdly.

'So that's her name? Nona?'

"Oohhh, you like her?" Mingyu asked cheekily, nudging my elbow.

"N-No! No way!" I stuttered.

'Why was I so nervous?'

'And why is my heart beating so fast all of a sudden?'
