The sharp pain in my head awakens me. Groggily, my eyes open and I'm greeted with the sight of a motel bed beneath me. The motel room...where Damon confronted Anna. A man sleeps in a chair not too far from me.

    I look to my right and see Elena sleeping soundly on the bed. I turn in my spot, wincing at the pain in my head. I press a palm against my forehead, attempting to numb or contain the pain before using my other hand to shake Elena awake. 

    She immediately awakens with a small gasp. I place a finger to my lips, trying to silence her. She looks past me and at the man in our way.

    Elena slides off the bed, her being closer to the door than I am. I inch my way to the edge of the bed as she takes careful steps towards the door.

    "I wouldn't do that," a voice threatens. The sleeping man quickly speeds over to Elena, looking into her eyes. "Don't try to escape. Go sit back down on the bed with your sister. Do you understand?"

    Elena nods her head before repeating, "I understand." The vampire chuckles, about to take his seat again. Elena quickly rushes to the door again, this time opening it, but a female pushes her back inside.

    "Seriously?!" Anna demands, holding onto Elena's arm. Elena tries and fails to pull her arm free.

    "I did that eye thing you taught me!" The guy defends.

    "You forgot the lesson about vervain. They date vampires, Ben," She snaps.

    "Actually—" i try to correct

    "It doesn't matter," Anna growls before pushing Elena into the bathroom.

"Why did you lock her into a bathroom?" I demand.

"She's not the only one," Anna dismisses , "The Bennet witch is in there too."

"Bonnie?" I question. Well duh, who else? "Why is she here?" I question.

"You ask way too many questions," Anna avoids. .

"What can I say? I'm a curious girl." I glare. I drum my fingers against my thighs before standing up. "As much as I would love to stay and chat with you, I've got to get my sister and her friend." Anna raises an eyebrow at me as I step towards the door. "So if you would mind stepping away from the bathroom door, that would be amazing."

With all the courage I can muster, I reach for the bathroom door. She surprises me by grabbing my wrist before I could grab the handle.

"Don't worry," she smirks, making me glare. "Ben's got it."

"Ben?" I test out, recognizing the name. I turn to the vampire. "Oooh. You're that Ben. The guy who didn't leave Mystic Falls after graduating," I taunt. I see anger flash through his eyes.

"Ignore her," she commands, "She's just trying to get to you. Go, get the girl."

Ben yanks open the door before pulling my frightened sister out. He shuts the door, keeping Bonnie trapped. Elena grabs my arm, letting out a small sigh of relief.

"Well well, the Gilbert twins," Anna greets, shooting us a smirk. "I finally get to personally meet you. What's it like? I mean you two are practically reeling them in. You really are Katherine's doppelgängers."

"I don't think we need a reintroduction." I glare while Elena is holding on to my arm like shes going to fall off a cliff. She surprisingly has a strong grip.
