It's July fourth and Paul told the truth about how he feels yesterday and I legit kept asking him questions the whole night.

Apparently this is not something he just felt hours ago, and what really surprised me was when I asked him did he think more of us when we functioned on a fake relationship and he said yea.

Jhanae was sitting there repeating I told you all night.

"Shanice we sat and broke it down when he got into a relationship with Tia. You just don't want to accept it"

"No Jhanae we broke it down to the point where we made the conclusion that he moved on with Tia cause I was playing games"

"Ok..."

"We still can't prove that Jhanae"

"Shanice I wanna slap you right now... You have all the proof you need, alright let's break it down again. Y'all became friends in 2013 right?"

"Uh yea I was a sophomore and he was a junior."

"When do you think he gave the first hint"

"That summer after we became friends with the Anthony situation"

Jhanae looked confused so I decided to remind her what happened with this boy that was also in their section at the time.

"You remember how Anthony always used to bother me and ask for hugs and shit cause he wanted to lowkey feel on my booty. At the pool party he legit lost all my respect when he felt like it was ok to touch me inappropriately under the water."

"Oh yea, didn't Paul talk to him about it"

"Yea, I mean I complained about Anthony a lot cause that's what I do when I'm annoyed but I didn't ask him to talk to him, he just did it on his own then sent me the screenshots"

"That's cute as fuck. Didn't he tell Anthony that he cares about you and don't like the fact that you complain a lot about him" Jhanae replied.

"Yes"

"So if that was the first sign why did you ignore it?"

"I didn't ignore it, I ignored all signs after that, I said this already. Everything y'all told me went through one ear and out the other. I never noticed how much I had feelings for him until I saw him be with somebody else, I was so contempt with our fake relationship that nothing else really mattered to me. Call me naive, yes I know, I accepted the fact that I was naive but it's the past."

"Yea I was thinking that too cause I really feel like there's a lot of sexual tension in the air"

"Alright let's get ready for Karen's God daughter's party tonight" I told Jhanae. It was Fourth of July and we weren't trying to stay home.

"Wait Shanice you should've waited on Paul so he can come pick you up considering you wanna try alcohol tonight"

"Damn Jhanae why would you tell me that now when I'm halfway there, your ass need to start driving again"

We got to the party and was chilling outside, when Paul came through. Surprisingly nothing was awkward between us we all were just chilling.

Paul gave Jhanae a cup of Hennessy and this girl started tripping.

"Shanice can I go lay down in your car?"
