The wedding was a success, it was beautiful a couple problems at first but the night went smooth. Seen some family I haven't seen in forever, had a great time with my cousins, grew a tight bond with them in the short time frame.
It's been a couple weeks since the wedding and I've been home ever since doing church activities and chilling with Jason to keep me occupied until pre drills.
Jhanae, Paul, and I have a group chat where we talk about mostly non important things. Jhanae been trying to give off the hint in the chat that I'm in a relationship now but I'll act confused along with Paul only cause she know how I feel about telling him.
My phone vibrated and it was Paul in the group chat.
Paul: so Shanice when are we going to fuck?
Jhanae: 👀 Shanice did you make a decision yet?
I got up and went into Jhanae room, if looks can kill she would be six feet under right now
"I don't care tell him now, if you don't I will, get to typing"
I took my phone and started typing
But Jhanae beat me to it
Jhanae: she got a boyfriend now
Shanice: really Jhanae? 😡
Paul: oh really?
Shanice: yea can't do it anymore so that's a no
Paul: ok
Jhanae looked at me "that wasn't bad was it?"
"It was cause you told him instead of me and I'm pretty sure that ok had so much meaning behind it"
"Well now that the air is cleared you guys can finally plan out a best friend chill day before he leaves"
"I guess let me text him right now"
I decided to just do it in the chat
Shanice: so about our best friend day 👀
"Jhanae did you open the message cause it's already on R"
"Nope he already read it"
"I don't think he's going to text back" I sighed cause I could already see this was going in the wrong direction. I decided to text him privately and he read it but still didn't reply
"It's official he's ignoring me, great. Fuck it"
"Sha just chill he probably busy"
"Nope he's mad, so he's going to ignore me"
"So no best friend chill day?"
"Naw I don't even wanna do it anymore"
"So you going to give up after a couple of minutes of no response from him?"
"No, I know my best friend, he's stubborn so now that he's mad he's going to ignore me till he feel like it's right to talk to me"
"But you're stubborn too."
"If I have to be the bigger person I will but for now I'm not going to worry about it, let him be mad."
Jhanae looked at me as I left the room slightly upset at everything that just happened. I called Jason to see if he was busy, I needed a distraction from all this, and couldn't think of a better person than my boyfriend.
"I'm just getting off of work, wassup?"
"I just been in this house too long and I wanted to chill with you if that's ok"
