39. Really

I'm on my way to Alex's house, she called me yesterday asking to chill today. She had so much stuff to tell me, and I agreed.

I parked my car as I waited for her to come out, she walked up to my side of the car opening the door with a huge smile on her face.

"Hey, I haven't seen you in forever and I don't care if you don't like hugs" she stood outside the car waiting for me to get out.

I got out and gave her a hug, she squeezed me so tight before letting go and going to the other side of the car to get in.

"So what's up?" She asked.

"Nothing much, where we going?"

"We can go to the park over there." I nodded before driving away to the park down the street from her house. We got out the car and started walking.

"So as you know me and Tia left off on really bad terms because of the situation with you and Paul" she started.

"Yea, so are you guys still on bad terms"

"Sort of but not really, we talk from time to time, so we're building our friendship back slowly."

"That's wassup. You moved on though right?" I asked.

"Oh yea, I'm talking to few other girls right now, but nothing serious, but wassup with you? I see you Paul and Jhanae always together."

"Oh from snapchat? Yea you can say we got closer this summer"

"So basically y'all got closer because he and Tia don't go out no more"

"I wouldn't say that."

"Just say it, the answer is yes."

I laughed. "No, we were still close when he was with her"

"But y'all are even closer now. Did y'all fuck this summer?"

"Nope." I told her truthfully. Her eyes nearly pooped out her head.

"Really, you're lying"

"I'm so serious we ain't fuck, I'm talking to somebody"

"Really, why?"

I shrugged. "I can't talk to somebody else?"

"No, Paul is the only one you should be talking to, you know he's going to get mad if he finds out."

I laughed. "Girl he's the one that set this up, he's not liking it now but oh well"

"So he paired y'all up, and now he's not liking it"

"He didn't expect it to turn out like this, so yea we going through shit, but we good for the most part"

"I told you this before, y'all going to go out soon, this nigga is just really confusing. You know how him and Tia don't go out anymore right"

I nodded.

"Tia been talking about how she doesn't want to go to FAMU anymore but she has a cousin who really thinks she should go"

"I mean she about to start her senior year, she has time to make up her mind but why don't she want to go"

"Cause Paul is her boss now, he questions who she with and what she's doing a lot. She was talking to me one day and she was like, he never used to do this when they went out and she feels like if she go to FAMU she's going to be restricted."

I laughed at what Alex just said. "I'm not dumb, obviously she lowkey likes being questioned cause if she really was worried about restrictions, she would've been moved on."
