Day 14

A warm feeling invaded my body as I was in that state where you don't know or realize where you are for that matter. Not wanting to open my eyes I just turned a bit to get more comfortable in my bed.

The sheets were so soft I had to snuggle into them but something else was blocking me from doing so. Something harder, I couldn't move it nor move against it for that matter. It felt safe though, safer than my bed. I blindly reached for what was resting on my bare stomach and felt like fuzzy. Fuzzy hair. I caressed it running my thumb through the hairs. It felt nice and familiar. I contently moved my head to the right only to feel this thing again. I was so dazed, everything felt nice and normal.

But a feeling of patterns being drawn on my lower stomach made my senses come to life and my upper half shot up, so did my eyes.

And everything was fuzzy yet again. Those white walls weren't mines. Actually those extremely soft sheets weren't mines. And this third arm trying to make me lay back down on my back was definitely not mine.

It was his.

All of this was his.

I remembered how we ended up in the same bed after fighting over the couch. Making out like there was no tomorrow, we really seemed like a young couple who just moved in together.

We were nothing though.

A strong tug got me back in my previous place as I felt the arm which was draped over my tummy seconds ago, move up my side to rub it gently. His breathing was loud, seemed loud to me at least, and it got closer when what I assumed to be his nose touched my right ear.

As if he looked up, his head turned up as well and now his mouth was leveled to my ear.

" Good morning baby."

He kissed it, and a smile drew itself on my face. I leaned a bit into him before completely turning to face him. Looking each other straight in the eyes, I examined both of his, seeing the light smile playing on his lips. It was almost like no words were needed.

" Hi."

"Hi."

" Did I wake you? "

" Yes actually."

" I'm sorry Jai."

" Don't. It's really nice to wake up that way if I'm being honest."

I blushed and hid my face in his naked chest, his hairs tickling my nose.

" How did you sleep Lili ? "

" Well, very well. "

" So did I."

" Do you have work today ? "

" This afternoon. Do you have work ? "

" I do."

I did. They were going to be so mad, I would have to face them at some point.

I rubbed my forehead in annoyance as I sat up.

" Do you know where my phone is ? "

He looked at me with pained eyes. Like if he was feeling my internal pain.

" I think you left it on the couch yesterday."

I murmured a thank you and got up. On my way I fixed down my shirt and hair.

10.56 a.m.

It would take me a good thirty minutes to reach work, so I should probably just head home and wait for them.

I had three missed calls from Christoph and one text message from Anna.

From Anna:

Explanations are needed.

Indeed they are but maybe not only from my side.

I heard foot steps and Jai soon entered the living room still topless. I smiled at him and turned back to get my stuff together. When I was done I turned back around to face the Australian who hadn't moved a muscle.

" I have to go."

" Can't yo-"

" No. I can't. I really have to go."

" But from what I understood yesterday, by now your work is over. "

" Th

is isn't about work Jai, I have to talk to my foster parents, I have to get things straight."

" Let me at least drive you. "

" No, please, I have to do this myself, I'll just take the bus, please don't insist. I'm on my own this time."

He looked a bit hurt, but I'm sure deep down he understood it wasn't about him. He gazed down for a few seconds. I couldn't leave on that. I didn't wanted to have more fights. So I walked to him and kissed him like I meant it. And I did.

" I'll call you later. "

And I passed the front door on that.

The door creaked open.

Shuffling was heard in the house.

" Lili. "

" Anna. "

" To the living room now."

I wasn't feeling like sass her back as I knew what was to come.

I sat on the love seat in front of the couch. In front of both of them.

" Let's do this calmly, where were you last night ? "

" At a friend's."

" You don't have any."

" Well surprise I lied about that. Just like you lied about my whole existence."

They seemed taken aback but Anna quickly argued back.

" Don't change the subject young lady !"

" You are changing the subject Anna ! What if you told me about how well you knew my dad, about of incapable of having a child you were and how Ian was my step-brother !! "

" I-I wha-what are you- what nonsense are you making up there ? And how many times did I tell you not to pronounced his name ! "

" IAN IAN IAN IAN IAN !! I'll do what I want to do because he was my step-brother, my only family, and you two monsters took that from me ! how could you possibly do that ! "

I was now in tears because everything came back in mind. It was hard to talk about him.

Christoph took over.

" Lili you have to understand that we had our reasons okay ? Hurting wasn't our aim, it never was. "

" But why now, why didn't you guys adopt me at my dads death like you promised to. Why did you wait so long ! "

He looked at me with sad eyes, Anna was emotionless as always.

" I want to know the truth."

I think my wattpad has a problem because the end of my chapters keeps deleting itself ! Anyways hope you enjoyed ! Love
