So it's been about two weeks since the blow out with Asia and I ain't heard shit from her. I was a lil worried to be honest.

I called her cell and listened to it ring for a while.

"Hello?" A man answered.

I pulled the phone back from my ear to make sure I'd called the right number and then put the phone back to my ear.

"Helloooo?" The man said again.

"Yeah, uh can I speak ta Iyasia?"

"The nurse with her right now, can you hold on one minute?"

"Nurse? Wea she at?"

"This is August?" He asked.

"Yeah and dis is?"

"Thomas, her uncle. She at Bethesda. Come by."

"Uncle?"

He hung up and I stared at the phone so confused.

I grabbed my keys and headed towards the door.

"Where you going?" Aria asked coming out of the bathroom.

"To see Asia, um can you go home in the meantime?" I asked as nicely as possible.

"Why?"

"I just, ima need to be alone when I get back."

"Or you're bringing her back." She said crossing her arms.

"Aria don't start tripping out on me now."

"I'm not tripping out August I just don't get it." She explained.

"Get what? Aria I don't have time."

"Fine." She stormed back in the room and I rushed out to the car and raced to the hospital.

"August she's in here." A man that looked just like Asia's dad said.

I walked up to him and stepped in his face. "Fuck you doin here dawg?"

He shrugged. "This not whatchu wanna do playa, I'm just tryna help my lil niece."

"By breaking into my shit and beating on my guest nigga?" I spat.

"All apart of the plan to help my lil niece." He said with no emotion on his face.

I stepped back and stared at him.

"What happened to her?" I changed the topic seeing that convo was getting me no where.

"Some shit went down and she took a bullet, having trouble breathing and talking but she's fine."

"Some shit went down? That's my... that's my friend in there. You gotta tell me more than that." I stuttered.

"Your friend? The way she was asking for you I woulda thought-"

"She's my friend." I cut him off.

He threw his hands up in surrender. "She just got shot while me and her was handling some shit that her dad got her in."

I stared at him a little longer and nodded walking past him into the room.

Asia was awake but her eyes were low.

"August." She gasped for air.

"Damn, I'm sorry A." I shook my head and walked over next to her.

She looked at me and nodded her head.

She picked up a notepad and pen and began writing, she was struggling so bad I wanted nothing more than to help her somehow.

"Thank you for showing up even though I bitched out on you." She laughed as she handed me the notepad.

I laughed and looked up at her and sighed dropping my head. "We both bitched out a lil bit. Agree?"

She nodded at me and stared at me with those beautiful ass eyes. I shook my head. "Why is this shit so hard?"

She looked at me confused and waiting for me to finish.

"Why can't I just act like I never met you dawg." I chuckled a little. "I keep making these excuses as to why I need to come see you, or why I have to talk to you.." I shook my head.

She smirked and reached for the notepad and I handed it to her. I waited for her to write and then she handed it back to me.

"Cause you're in love with me, and I with you. I know I fucked up but Arielle got you holding on to this grudge a lot longer than you want to." The note read.

I roared in laughter. "Asia who the fuck is Arielle? You childish as hell." I paused before I continued speaking. "She's a good person A, she's everything I need in a woman.. she ain't you though." I said truthfully.

I could feel her staring at me but I never dared to look up.

"I'm sorry, I love you." She managed to get out before she was out of breath.

"I'm so fuckin dumb." I laughed to myself while sitting up in the chair. "This shit ain healthy."

"Popeyes ain't healthy." She roared into laughter and quickly was gasping for air.

"That's whatchu get man you ain't funny."

I got up and walked over to her bed. "You coulda died man and I wouldn't have known shit cause of my lil pissy attitude." I sighed.

She reached up and grabbed my face and gave me a look assuring me she was okay.

I sighed. "Don't make me regret this A."

"What?" She said lowly, if I wasn't so close I probably wouldn't have been able to hear her.

I leaned down and kissed her lips. "This." I mumbled against her lips and she wrapped her arm around my neck deepening the kiss.

When I broke the kiss and stood back up I felt tears rushing down my face. I knew we weren't good for eachother and I knew I was a damn dumb ass but I loved this girl more than my own life and nothing I felt for Aria or anything could change it. I missed the hell out of Asia. I masked my feelings with anger but I was only hurting myself by putting on this act.

Tears started to roll down her cheek. "I'm sorry, I won't hurt you again." She gasped.

I smirked and wiped my face. "Bet not, you'a be up in dis bitch forreal."

She smiled and rolled her eyes before pulling me back down to her. "Tell ari-hoe get her shit, augsia back in business." She barely got the full sentence out.

"You so corny, girl ain't no hoe." I rolled my eyes.

She was right though. Augsia was back in business.

Her uncle peeped in the room. "Lil niece stop being grown."

She laughed and I smiled. "You on know how grown she get man."

He turned up his lips. "Gon on with all that shit man." She turned around leaving out the room.

I maybe the worlds biggest dumb ass, but i'a be allat to be with the woman I love.

Now yal know..... Augasia wun going no where. I'm childish but not that childish lol.
