"So this guy looks like Liddan, even sounds like him. But he's got, like, Elwin hair." Marigold explained.
"So you're saying that this is the man child of Elwin and Liddan..." Sylvie nodded, thinking she has full understanding of what Marigold had said.
"Oh gosh...ew." Nashi said, rubbing her temples as she attempted to crush her current thoughts.
"He used a gun, and he had really good accuracy." Marigold continued. "He shot me in the wings, and the arm, but my body healed in time for me to still manage to escape."
"I see..." Elwin said, rubbing his chin as he leaned against the stone wall.
"What's his name?" Nashi asked.
"Isaiah, I think. I was listening to their conversation."
"Marigold, that's poor manners." Sylvie scolded.
"I think I had justifiable reasoning..." Marigold sighed.
"Isaiah...oh yes, I know him." The old woman--by the name of Nallama--said.
"Who is he?" Elwin asked.
"He's this very frightening man that the Brotherhood of Order had brought to Magnolia. I remember...he came to my shop just three days after the Brotherhood arrived in town. He ordered a cup of a ice tea with three lemon slices placed on the tip of the glass, all within equal distance from one another. I had to use a ruler to get it right because he kept telling me they weren't equally placed."
"Wow..." Elwin groaned, "he's either a complete OCD freak or a rude nagging jerk."
"Or both." Sylvie added.
"It was quite appalling...and he didn't even tip." Nallama sighed. "He yelled at my granddaughter--who was serving him--several times. After he finished his tea, he told me that I was being evicted. He put me through all that trouble just to come right at me and kick me out of my own home. He was so cruel."
"Yeah, and he shot Marigold in the arm multiple times." Nashi added.
"I bet he's no fun to be around." Sylvie said sternly.
"Yep, I just hate people who are naggy about tea and also shoot people." Nashi nodded. "They're the worst."
"Anyway..." Marigold sighed. "I know that some of the exceeds are in the guildhall. Which is where they've planted their base in."
"That's sick." Nashi grunted. "First they try destroying the guildhall, then they take it as there own."
"This is the Brotherhood we're talking about, I'm not all that shocked." Marigold sighed.
"So tell us more about why the Brotherhood built that wall?" Nashi asked
"Well, it happened not long after my shop was taken away." Nallama began. "You see, they had moved us all into the outer city, saying it was because the district surrounding Fairy Tail was dangerous to stay around. So we all moved out past the canal as they had asked. After a week passed, we took notice that they had begun to build a wall. Soon we all realized they didn't intend to let us return there."
"After the wall was put up, a quarrel had begun between some of the soldiers and the townspeople, who were angry because of the wall's building. It got violent after that scumbag Isaiah came to the wall, and shot three of the boys clean in the arm. That's when we all went to the wall just in front of the bridge over the canal to try getting past the wall." a man by the name of Yamato explained. "That's when you came along."
"I'm sure that they're looking for us now." Marigold said, looking out past her window.
Nashi bit the tip of her thumb, looking out the stain glass windows beside Marigold.
