Anime x Reader One-Shots!

Hanji Zoe x Reader (Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin)

Hi, guys! Quick note before the story starts: I wasn't sure if Hanji was male or female, so I looked it up. Apparently, in the anime, Hanji is a girl, but in the manga, it's up to the reader. I decided to have Hanji be female in this story because I don't read the manga. Anway, sorry to keep you guys waiting! ^^;

You knocked on the door of Hanji's office.

"Hanji? May I come in?" you asked.

"(y/f/n), is that you?" you heard her respond, although her voice was slightly muffled.

"Yes," you called back. Hanji was your squad leader and good friend. The two of you liked to talk a lot about science and titans.

"Oh, okay! Sure!" you heard her yell from the other side.

You opened up the door to her office and stepped inside to see Hanji sitting at her desk, scribbling madly on a piece of paper.

Hanji didn't even glance up as she asked, "Do you need anything?"

"I... I wanted to watch you experiment on the titan you captured for the rest of the week. Would that be okay-"

Hanji sprang up and threw her arms around you.

"Yes! Yes! You definitely can!" she cried happily. "Finally, someone who understands the wonders of titans!!"

You laughed and gently pushed her off.

"Okay, let's go right now!" Hanji said excitedly. She grabbed your hand and raced out of the building towards where she was holding the titans.

You blushed furiously at the feeling of her hand on yours. The truth was that you had a small crush on her that had formed the very first day you met.

Not that she'll ever like me back, you thought with an internal sigh. She's too wrapped up in her experiments and work and stuff.

Once you arrived at where the titans were being kept, Hanji let go of your hand and pointed to each of them.

"I have two here today," she explained excitedly. "The one on the left is Monster. The other one is Eli."

"Can you show me how you experiment on them?" you asked curiously.

"Sure!" she responded excitedly. "The first experiment today is to try to feed them."

You backed away nervously. Hanji just laughed and put a hand on your shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to be feeding people to them. I'm going to try to feed them human food and see what happens."

"Okay. I'll watch from back here," you said, taking a seat on a tree stump far away from the titans.

"I'll be right back," Hanji said. She gave you a quick wave before sprinting off somewhere.

The titans, though restrained, occasionally tried to lunge at you, drooling and grunting. Even though were terrifying, there was something very cool about them to you. When you joined your squad after you finished training, you were excited to see that your squad leader was as fascinated by them as you were.

"Okay!" Hanji announced, distracting you by your thoughts. You glanced at her to see her returning with an armful of leeks. "I'm going to give Monster these and see what happens."

"Alright," you responded, watching intently.

Hanji approached Monster carefully, saying, "Hey, little guy! Want some food?"

Although Monster snapped his teeth at her hungrily, she just laughed and jumped back.

"Wow, you really are hungry, aren't you?" she teased. "But don't eat me! I'm the one taking care of you!"
