Connor saw the sun rising and decided to get ready for school. He knew he couldn't miss another day. No matter how crappy he felt today. He got off his head and realized how stuff his back was since he had been sitting in the same position for about 6 hours. He got a towel and went to his bathroom, taking an extra long shower. Once he was out he dried his hair off a bit so he could style it before school, then realizing he was even too lazy to do that. He took his favorite gray beanie and found an outfit for the day. He decided on his favorite cozy mockisons, some gray sweatpants because he didn't care, a basic shirt and a zip up sweatshirt. He added the beanie and he thought he looked dead. Which wasn't a surprise. He had gotten no sleep and he had spent the whole night thinking about how someone so amazing like Troye could like someone so basic like him. He made his way to the kitchen and grassed a banana and a pre made coffee can. He got his bag and headed out the door. He soon ran into Troye walking towards their corner.

"Hey. You feeling any better?" Play it cool Connor. He doesn't need to know you were up all night.

"Uhh. Yeah. A bit thanks."

"You sure. You look a little... Down."

"I'm fine Troye I promise." Connor sighed. This was going to be a tiring day.

"Okay. Well. If you need anything don't hesitate to text me. Kay?"

"Okay. Thank you. See you at lunch?"

"Definetly babe. K I got to go." Troye gave his a quick kiss and he felt butterflies in his stomach as Troye walked away to his first class. Even after everything he thought about, he not once doubted how much be enjoyed being around Troye. He already felt a little better just by walking to school with him.

The next week at school Connor went with the flow. Sat with Troye at lunch. Held hands while walking to their classes. Went to the coffee shop together almost every day after school. And he enjoyed it all when Troye was there. But he also couldn't help but feel like something wasn't quite right. But he had no idea what that was.

Friday morning he walked into school hand in hand with Troye. He saw a slightly familiar face.

"That's that Zoe girl right?" Troye asked Connor.

"Uh. Yeah I think so." Connor replied. She was walking straight towards them.

"Connor!" She had an English accent.

"Uh. Hi Zoe. What's up?"

"I need to talk to you. Ummm. About the Newspaper. In private."

"Uh.... Why?"

"Just cause. Sorry Troye.  I'm steel in him for a while. Come on." She grabbed Connors wrist and started walking the opposite direction. Connor looked back and saw Troye giving him a sympathetic smile. He rolled his eyes and continued walking with Zoe.

"Ok. What's wrong Zoe."

"Okay. I know we've barley talked but I have to talk to you about something."

"What's wrong?"

"What's going on with you and the Aussie?"

"Uh... Why do you ask?"

"Cause you guys are adorable and I need to know all the details!" Connor rolled his eyes. Of course this was her answer. Connor knew she was very fond of shipping everything in sight.
