After that weekend at Troyes, Connor knew he could trust Troye. He knew he would help him. He was still scared to trust anyone at this point, but he knew he had to start somewhere and he knew that somewhere had to be Troye. That week at school was a little easier for him. He was able to to start initiating kisses between the two. Start conversations. Even started talking to Zoe more. He really liked having her back. She always knew want to say and what to do in any situation. And she wasn't pushing him to do anything else. She just wanted him to be happy. Just like Troye. He wondered why everyone was helping him so much.

As much as Connor was confused by everyone, he was more so thinking that he wanted to show them he was okay. That he was doing okay now. That he didn't need all this help.it was weird. No one had cared about him in this way before. Now all of a sudden he had friends who would not take no for an answer to anything.

He wanted to do something out of his comfort zone. Because if he didn't do something outrageous, he might never do anything out of his comfort zone. He would be done with high school soon. And he would have spent the whole time not doing anything teenager-y stuff. He knew he needed to experience something he wouldn't usually even think of doing. But how was he going to do that?

That Friday at school he found the perfect opportunity to do something like that.

"Hey! Tronnor!!" Connor heard Zoe yelling for his and Troyes attention as they walked into school that morning.

"Hi Zo. Whats up?"

"My brother is throwing a party tonight at our house. Our parents are out of town so we've got the place to ourselves all weekend. So. Do you want to come?" Connor though about it. That would be the perfect place to do something out of the ordinary.

"Uh. I don't know Zoe. Connor? What do you think?" Troye said taking Connors hand and entwining their fingers.

"Yeah. Of course. We will be there Zoe."

"Really. Connor. Are you sure? You don't have to if you don't want."

"No. It's fine. I'm good. We're going. Kay babe?"

"Uh. Yeah. Okay. Sure. Thanks for the invite Zoe."

"Yay! Okay. Here's the address," she said as she handed them a piece of paper. "It starts at 8. Kay? I'll see you at lunch I've got to get to class." Zoe said hugging Troye quickly and Connor slower and softer.

"Thanks Zoe. I'll see ya later." She kissed his on the cheek slightly before running off in the opposite direction."

"Was she always this hyper?" Troye asked Connor as they continued to walk towards their classes.

"Yes. I don't think she ever gets tired. It's really weird."

"Yeah. Here's my class. I'll see you at lunch. Mk?" Troye said releasing Connors hand, about to walk into his classroom

"Kay. Thanks babe. I'll see you later." Connor said kissing Troye quickly before walking into his own class across the hall.

That night the boys face timed as they helped pick out outfits. It was something they both really enjoyed. Most mornings now they would call once they knew both were up. And they would virtually look through their closets and choose outfits. It was pretty unconventional. But it was pretty "them".

"Con Da Bon!!!!" Troye sang through the phone.

"Yessssss."

"How about this?" Troye asked. He held up some medium wash blue skinny jeans that were slightly ripped at the knees, with a big red sweater.
