"What if he doesn't love me like he said he had when he proposed six months ago?" whined Lauren. "What if everything I've come up with for my own vows, vanish right before I have to speak them?"

"You are going to be just fine out there." Melanie said taking her best friend into her arms for a hug. "You and Tyler are meant to be. I've never seen people so into each other and you can tell they don't even try. It's not forced. You fit together like a puzzle piece and I, your best friend and Maid Of Honor will make sure everything is perfect, okay?

"Okay" Lauren said finally dabbing eyes carefully not to mess up her make-up as she dried her tears. She took one more look in the mirror at her Pnina dress with the sweetheart neck line and her mother's pearls dangling from her ears. Interrupting her thoughts, her dad, Arthur, came to the door.

"Are you ready my dear?"

"As ready as I'll ever Be dad."

As they begin To walk and stand in front of the door, Lauren heard the music begin. She thought quickly to herself "I Can do this, I can do this." And in Lauren and her father walked in together.

Everyone stood as the beautiful mocha colored bride make her way to the alter. As she looked down the aisle and saw Tyler there with the biggest smile on his face, she knew at that moment, all of her worries had been for nothing. This man she had been with since she was 17, had finally asked her to be with him for the rest of their lives, and that's the way she to intends to keep it. Forever and always.

"Tyler, she said grabbing his hand, you are my best friend and you have seen me through the worst of times. You've seen me get my worst grade on a final. You have helped me bury my mother, a tear falling. And you have seen me at the best of times. You accompanied me to my first prom and you saw me walk across that stage to get my Degree in Nursing. Point is, you've been with me through thick and thin and never left my side. I love you with every fiber in my body and I have no intentions what so ever, letting you go." Lauren said into her loving husbands eyes as tears filled hers.

"Tyler doesn't do very well with speeches" Lauren giggled, saying to the people witnessing her getting married, trying to lighten the mood.

"Lauren, from the moment I saw you, I knew I would marry you. You are so independent but you allowed me to intrude into that part of your life. You gave me the time of day that no other woman would give me. Every other person I was with before you, never made me feel this way. They were easy to me. But you... His voice cracked. Tears filled his eyes. You, Lauren, made me wait, something these other girls never knew how to do. I'm glad GOD sent you into my life, you are truly an angel from above".

"Is there anyone here that feels that these two beautiful souls shall not be together" reverend said looking around the church seeing no disagreements. I now pronounce you man and wife".

Tyler's lips had just grazed Lauren's as the doors up of the church flew open. Everyone turned their heads quickly only to see a tall, slender figure standing there with a gun. Everyone got up and began panicking and tried to get out of the church. "This is how you repay me?" said the person. I grabbed Tyler's arm and three shots were fired. I looked down and saw a pool of blood under our feet. "Oh no, Tyler" I screamed. Not realizing it was I who had been shot. I saw the blood on my once so white beautiful dress. I begin to fall to the floor as everything went into circular motions. And then... Complete darkness.
