Jurassic World: A New Beginning

After recruiting Andrew's help in finding a branch long enough to help Lowery lean over, the group was ready to start walking once more through the jungle in search of the tech center that Andrew claimed was somewhere near the center of the small island.

Andrew being about the size of Lowery had to pass Lowery's left arm over his shoulders to help him move through the thick jungle as Bea walked ahead making sure there was no danger close; none of them wondering what had happened to the Compys.

"How long do you think it will take the others to get here?" asked Bea, she stepped over a fallen log and looked down at her watch, they had been walking for almost two hours and there was still no sign of the tech center.

"Maybe five hours" answered Andrew, he grunted as he helped Lowery sit down over the log, both men panting, exhausted from all the double effort they had been doing just to walk steady behind Bea.

"And are you sure there is a tech center here?" asked Bea, she turned around to look at Lowery and Andrew, Lowery had pulled his back pack off and was pulling out a water bottle from it as Andrew looked around the jungle.

Bea frowned, she was thirsty too but she wanted to get to the tech center fast because so far the evening was starting to stretch and the last thing she wanted was to be out there with unknown dangers roaming around.

"Yes I'm sure, its around here somewhere" Andrew seemed defensive and that made Bea grow worried a bit more than she had been a few minutes ago.

"We've been walking around for almost two hours, not to mention the running around we did when you got attacked by the Compys, and there is still no sign of the center" Bea pointed out "We can't stay out here during the night, we wont last"

Lowery leaned over his knees and closed his eyes, never in his life had he imagined this would happen to him; yeah he had been part of the Jurassic World disaster but he had been in his tech room not running around the whole park while dinosaurs terrorized the village.

"Well, I don't know what to tell you Bea" explained Andrew, he looked at Bea and glanced at Lowery before he turned his attention to the beautiful woman standing in front of him. "I know there is tech center here, I saw it once but I don't remember the path exactly I just know it's in the center of the island"

"Well, we better find that place fast because those Compys are nothing compared to the other things that might lurk here" pointed out Bea, she raised her eyebrows in annoyance at Andrew and rapidly turned her attention to her injured friend. "How are you feeling Lowery?"

Lowery looked up at Bea, he was pale and his chest was rising and falling rapidly, giving Bea the impression that he was under a lot of pain and fear.

"I'm managing" Lowery answered softly, he cleaned the sweat off his face with his left hand as Bea pushed her hair off her face.

"Do you think you can get moving any time soon?" asked Bea, Andrew had his eyes over the young woman and Bea was starting to grow uneasy.

"I can try" Lowery answered, he took another gulp from his water.

"Ok" whispered Bea, she turned her attention from Lowery to Andrew who gave her a smile that only made Bea feel even more uneasy.

"Bea" whispered Andrew, Bea raised her left eyebrow questioningly. "Can I talk to you? In private?"

Bea looked at Lowery, he was again leaning over his knees and didn't seem to be paying any kind of attention to what Andrew was telling Bea; she slowly turned to look at Andrew and nodded.
