"You do know your sister is gonna freak the fuck out, right?" asked Barry, he was inspecting that content of the glove compartment for the fourth time; he glanced at Owen, his friend looking out the window. The hard rain had been replaced by a soft drizzle but at least the raptors were gone.

For all they knew.

Owen sighed and slowly turned to look at Barry "I know" he leaned forward and covered his face with both his hands, he felt drained and exhausted like he hadn't felt in Jurassic World and there was something bugging him on the back of his mind about the way Bea had acted when they had been locked up.

Barry looked over his shoulder, on the back of the car Lowery had his head against the cold window and had drifted into a very necessary sleep about an hour ago, next to him was Zach, who had lay down and had his head over Bea's lap and just like Lowery he had fallen asleep when they had lost sight of the raptors. And finally Bea had her head against the window as well but one of her arms was over Zach's shoulder and she had recently fallen asleep after playing with Zach's hair for a while.

"Ok, so what do we do?" asked Barry, he turned to look at Owen "We leave, but we can't be sure they won't find the car and that they won't search it"

Owen looked up, his face red from the pressure of his hands, he looked at Barry and then glanced at Lowery. "We have to hope they don't, you know we can't move the car from this mud trap and we need to get to the beach to get help from the others"

"Your sister is not going to leave him here" pointed out Barry "Not unless you guarantee her that they won't kill him"

"Lowery isn't a threat to them, he's injured and if we have learned something from that sick son of a bitch is that he won't do anything that will hurt Bea, unless she asks him too"

Barry looked at Owen, there was doubt in his eyes but deep inside he wanted to believe that what Owen was telling him was true because so far there was no other way of getting out of there.

"So we are just gonna hope they don't kill Lowery?"

"Yes" said Owen "We have, we can't drag him to the beach with the raptors on our heels and those rouge InGen guys"

"Ok" said Barry "You're right, or you might be" he turned to the sleeping group "Before day break?"

"Yeah" said Owen "We make a run for it, we have to"

"How come we always find ourselves in this kind of situation?" asked Barry, he leaned back against his seat and closed his eyes.

"Being chased by dinosaurs and InGen guys wanting to kill us?" asked Owen, he too had leaned back over his seat.

"Yeah, man" sighed Barry, "Why can't we have normal problems?"

"Wanna know the worst of this?"

"There's something worse?"

"Andrew might be insane but we did sign up for the trial of the Jurassic reservoir" Owen answered.

Barry opened his eyes and cursed in his mind, it was true, Andrew might have gone insane but they had indeed agreed to help the restauration of the island and to help take care of the dinosaurs and to be honest he didn't know how he felt about that.

"No!" screamed Bea, from her place in the car she was trying her best to scramble to the front to fight her brother "We are not leaving him!"

"Bea" said Zach, he grabbed Bea by the waist and pulled her back to her seat, trying his best to avoid being hit by her knees as she screamed and screamed. "Sit down"
