Bea stood frozen in place, her hands clenched into fists and her heart pounding madly in her chest as she felt a single tear roll down her left eye as she blinked watching Andrew disappear into the jungle. With one rapid movement, Bea cleaned the tear away with her left hand as she opened her mouth to gasp for air, suddenly feeling all the hope she had left in her leave her body.
"Ok" she whispered, a few other tears rolled down her face as she tried to think what to do next, but how did you manage to get a plan when you had no idea where to go? "Ok, Bea" she whispered to herself once more "Let's go"
Slowly the young woman turned on the ball of her feet and found Lowery looking at her from his spot on the fallen tree, with all the energy she had left in her, Bea gave Lowery one of those fake smiles she hoped looked real that she had given to everyone after the Leo tragedy.
She walked rapidly towards Lowery, now that it was just the two of them, there was no time to lose. In long strides Bea reached Lowery and hovered over him for a few seconds before she sat down and looked down at her hands.
"Where's Andrew?" asked Lowery "Where did he go?"
"He's gone" answered Bea, her voice coming out hoarse and dry.
"Where did he go?"
"I don't know Low"
There was a long silence as the pair sat together over the fallen log, Lowery kept his eyes over Bea as he waited for her to say something else.
"He's not coming back" she finally declared, slowly she turned to look at the first person she had befriended when she had moved to Jurassic World a year ago.
"You mean he left us here?" whispered Lowery, Bea heard the tone of hopelessness in Lowery's voice.
"Yes" she answered "We need to leave, Low"
"Where are we going?" he asked, he started to pant "We don't know where we are, we don't even know if that tech place is real! What happens now?!"
"Lowery shut up!" barked Bea, she cupped Lowery's face "I'm scared too but screaming like that won't make things better and you know that if we stay here we are going to get eaten"
Lowery scanned Bea's face as she held his own between her hands "I can barely move"
"You need to try" she pressed his face gently "We can do this, ok? We didn't drown to be eaten by a pack of Compys, I did not survive the I-Rex to get killed by those prehistoric chickens, do you get it?"
"Yes" answered Lowery.
"Ok" smiled Bea, once more those Leo kind of smiles "Let me help you up"
Bea released Lowery's face and rapidly pushed herself up, she turned to her friend as the man grunted and placed all his weight over the walking stick Andrew had gotten him; rapidly Bea positioned herself under Lowery's armpit and passed her arm around his waist as he finally got to his feet.
"It's gonna take us hours" Lowery whispered.
"Then we better start walking now, man"

In the end Lowery had been right; as the rescue team started to sail towards Isla Tacaño with Owen renewing his hate for Zach and Zach feeling his heart in his throat, Lowery and Bea covered a trail of an hour in two hours and a half.
"I need to stop" whispered Lowery, he was panting and sweating and Bea could feel the all the effort his body was doing just to stay on its feet.
"Ok"
Bea dragged Lowery towards a few rocks and helped him sit down, she arched forward and looked down at her feet, panting and feeling the sweat beads roll down her neck; she noticed a few scratches on her legs and closed her eyes as she tried to get some air in her strained body.
"Why didn't you go with him?" asked Lowery.
Bea looked up at him with a frown over her face "What do you mean? I wasn't going to leave you here"
"You have no idea if we are going to make it the night" explained Lowery.
Bea opened her mouth to speak but by the corner of her eyes she caught something moving through the bushes a few feet away from them; the young woman stood up straight and her frown got deeper as she scanned the area.
"What?" asked Lowery, he looked over his shoulder but there was nothing there.
At least that they could see.
"There's something out there" whispered Bea "I saw something moving"
"The Compys maybe"
"I think it's something bigger" whispered Bea, she slowly turned to look at Lowery "We need to go"
"I can't walk anymore" explained Lowery.
"Goddamn it Lowery" thought Bea, she turned around and looked around once more, she could sense it in her soul that something out there was watching them "Andrew?" she called out, there was no movement or sound to give away the stalker.
"I don't think its Andrew" explained Lowery.
"Look" said Bea as she turned to Lowery "Andrew said the tech center was somewhere around here, I'm going to go check out a few feet ahead ok?"
"What about the thing out there?" asked Lowery, Bea looked at his walking stick.
"Hit it with that" she said as she pointed at the stick "I won't be long, just a few minutes, talk to me while I walk, when I barely hear you I'll walk back"
"Ok" whispered Lowery, because no matter if he said yes or no, Bea was already making her way up the jungle to catch the end of the small dirty trail they had been able to find as they had been walking when Andrew ditched them.
Bea walked away from Lowery, she bent down and grabbed a fallen branch from the floor, she wasn't going to go around without something to fend the Compys away; behind her she could hear Lowery saying something techy that she clearly couldn't understand but the important thing was that he was talking and she could hear him.
With her branch Bea pushed away a few long low leaves and partially disappeared from Lowery's sight as she continued to walk to check their surroundings, Bea hadn't thought it would be a good idea to tell Lowery that if they didn't find refuge fast they would probably die and there wouldn't even be bones to find.
"So the chips in their heads.... Lowery continued to narrate about the chips that he had been designing with InGen for the remaining dinosaurs.
"How the hell are you going to get out of this place?" Bea thought as she frowned and made her way deeper into the jungle, Lowery's voice still trailing after her. "Owen said he would find me," she reminded herself "What if you never see Owen again?" Bea felt her chest contract as she thought about never seeing Owen and Barry again "Or Zach" then as she pushed the last few leaves away and her left foot threatened to thrown her to the ground as it slid over a damp bunch of leaves she felt her heart sink "Never seeing anyone again"
As Bea pondered over how badly she wanted to crash on the floor and cry her lungs out, her breath was cut short as she stepped away from the leaves and trees and saw what lay before her.
"Oh god" she whispered, her hand curling around the stick harder as her chest started to rise and fall then she noticed it.
Where was Lowery's voice?
"Lowery?" called Bea, she looked over her shoulder, a frown forming over her face despite of what she had discovered.
There was no answer.
Bea turned around and took a few steps before a scream and a few screeches tore the air.
"BEA!"
Bea acted without a thought, she pushed the leaves away as she dashed down the path she had taken, holding the branch firm in her hand as she heard more screeching and suddenly the air was full of chirping and screeching and Lowery's horrified screams.
