Bea walked ahead of the group, after leaving Lowery behind two hours ago, she had been silent, Zach walked a few steps behind her wondering if he should try to start a conversation but not feeling very confident in doing so. Violently, Bea pushed away a huge leaf and when a second one appeared behind that one, she grabbed it viciously and pulled as hard as she could until the leaf crumbled in her grip as she grunted with anger.

"Bea" said Zach, he reached to stop her from harming her own hands but she turned to him and shoved him away from her, pressing what remained of the leaf against his chest with anger and frustration. "Hey" he said, he held her wrists but Bea tried to pull herself away from Zach as the tears started to stream down her face "Hey, it's fine" he said and pulled her up against her chest just as Barry and Owen came into view, stopping to see what was going on. "It's fine" he whispered, his arms protectively around Bea.

Bea's hands clenched to his shirt with anger and pain and fear as she felt her knees fail her, she closed her eyes as Zach held her against his chest and the tears continued to pour down her face "He's out there alone" she whispered.

"I know" whispered Zach, he pressed her harder against himself. "But it's gonna be fine, I promise"

"You cant promise that" she sobbed, he felt her nails against his skin although the fabric protected his aching back.

Owen turned to look at Barry, his friend looked away from the scene and looked down at his feet, he too felt terrible for leaving Lowery behind but he understood why they had to leave.

"We are near the beach" whispered Barry, he frowned and looked up, he started to walk forward and walked past the embracing lovers, pushing away a few leaves resembling the one Bea had butchered a few minutes ago.

"Barry, wait" said Owen, he hurried after his friend and Bea pulled away from Zach, she cleaned her tears with the back of her hand as she watched her brother following Barry "Where are you going?"

"We are near the beach" said Barry.

"What?" gasped Bea, her voice sandy "How do you know that?"

"There's sand on the ground" Barry's voice answered.

Bea and Zach looked down at the same time and noticed that indeed there was sand over the mud, Bea looked up at Zach and before he looked up at her, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him down the path Barry and Owen had followed.

"Hey, slow down Romeo!" barked Owen, he reached to grab his sister but was only able to grab Zach's free hand and yank him back towards himself.

Bea's grip over Zach's wrist slipped as she rushed past her brother and Barry, Zach stumbled back and crashed against Owen's broad chest; Owen still holding his hand firmly.

"Beatriz!" snapped Owen, but Bea rushed past a bush and was out of sight.

Barry glanced at Owen once and then started to run after Bea; he heard as Owen said something to Zach but he didn't stop, he couldn't get Bea out of his sight. He pushed a few branches away before they scratched his already bruised face, a few feet ahead he could see the blond young woman rushing forward and as he pumped his legs he noticed as the foliage started to space out and he slowed down as soon as his feet seemed to sink in soft like ground.

Barry looked down to find his shoes completely surrounded by sand, he looked up and behind a few giant leaves he saw Bea dropping herself on her knees over the sand as the bright sun above seemed to melt everything under it. And Barry could have sworn he had never seen something more beautiful in his life than the golden color of the sand and the aquamarine tone of the water as the waves washed over the beach.

"We made it" whispered Barry, he walked further down the beach, leaving the giant leaves behind and towards his friend.

"We made it" said Bea without looking over her shoulder, she could feel Barry just behind her like a guardian angel "We made it out"

"Holy shit" whispered Barry, because very deep in his soul there had been a tint of doubt that they would ever make it out of the island alive.

Owen and Zach walked into the beach together, Owen's grip was now around Zach's wrist, he wasn't about to let the kid wonder by himself, if something happened to Romeo he would have two incredibly pissed off women trying to rip his throat out.

"Oh thank god" whispered Zach.

Owen turned to look at him and released his wrist, his hand landed over Zach's shoulder and he gave the young man a soft squeeze before they both walked towards Barry and Bea, who was still sitting over the sand.

"We can call for help now" said Owen.

"How?" asked Bea, she didn't looked at her brother "We don't have the radios"

"Come on dude" chuckled Owen "You really think I don't have a backup plan?" this time Bea did look over her shoulder at her brother with a frown over her face.

Owen wiggled his eyebrows at his sister and walked away towards the nearest palm trees, Bea followed him with her sight. He bent down and after pushing away a few twigs and dead leaves he pulled out a small bag from a small hole. He stood up and waved the small pouch he had hidden when Barry, Zach and himself had been left at that same beach by the InGen boat.

"Always have a plan, remember" smiled Barry, he crossed his arms over his chest as Owen walked towards them, he opened the pouch and as he pulled out the radio he had hidden someone called out his name.

"Owen Grady"

Owen looked up and back to the forest just before the sound of a gun was heard and Owen was thrown off his feet and over the sand in front of his sister, his best friend and the hormonal handsy teen that liked Bea.

"OWEN!" screamed Bea, she scrambled to her knees and dragged herself rapidly towards her brother as Barry and Zach turned to the forest with horror flashing through over their faces.
