Andrew's eyes fluttered open, for a moment as he rolled over his left side he wondered where he was and how he had gotten to the floor; the pain on the back of his head and his jaw brought to him the images of Bea hitting him quickly. The young man grunted and pushed himself up, his right hand flew up to his lower lip and he touched it gently, a stinging pain told him that his lip was bleeding.

"Shit" he whispered, he looked around the room but nothing seemed to be missing except the girl he had been dreaming of for almost two years. "What the hell?"

Andrew remembered kissing Bea, he remembered pulling her up over the desk and his hands running up her back as she kissed him intensely and for a moment the phantom pressure of her lips against his mouth tingled over his lips and Andrew felt light headed for something else than the blow he had received from Bea.

He pushed himself up over his knees and his head sent a wave of agonizing pain through his body, he pressed his eyes closed for a moment but without losing time he pushed himself up to his feet and stumbled over to the desk to get his radio.

God he was head over heels for Beatriz Grady, he wanted to kiss her and pulled her up against his chest and hold her in his arms and wake up every day to see her face but that didn't mean he wasn't going to call Max and Hank and Sean and let them know that everyone who wasn't Bea was to be shot on sight.

"You wanna play tough, huh?" whispered Andrew as he grabbed the radio and waited for someone to answer.

The radio buzzed but before anyone could answer a gun shot was heard outside and Andrew turned on his heels with his heart racing madly and the pounding on his head growing exponentially.

The slender young man dropped the radio over the desk and started to walk towards the flap of the tent, he could see a shadow moving behind it and as he concentrated on the shadow he heard a second gun shot. As Andrew made his slow way towards the flap of the tent, the radio he had left behind buzzed alive and Hank's voice came through, making Andrew turn to look at the radio over his shoulder.

"Boss, the velocirap... he was cut short as another gun shot was heard.

Andrew's eyes grew in size as he realized that the gun shots were not being directed towards Bea and her group but at the invading velociraptors; his head snapped back to the flap of the tent just as a velociraptor jumped from behind it; hissing and claws extended towards Andrew with rage.

"Fuck" he whispered before he dove forward just as the creature jumped towards him.

Andrew ducked under the razor sharp hind claws of the animal and rolled over the floor just as the greenish velociraptor landed over the desk, crushing it under its weight and tumbling down over the floor.

Andrew's hand dashed under the bunk bed just to find that there had been something missing in the tent other than Bea; the gun was gone. With fear rushing through every single cell in his body, Andrew turned his attention to the flap of the tent and dashed towards it just as the velociraptor scrambled to turn around and charge at Andrew once more.

Outside the scene had turned incredibly violent, Hank and Max and Sean were shooting at the pack of velociraptors that had finally had enough of the InGen camp and had decided to attack; Andrew looked around, his heart threatening to burst out of his chest, he locked his eyes over Hank and just as he was about to rush towards him an incredible force sent him crashing down to the floor, once more his injured face screaming in pain as his jaw banged over the dirt.

Andrew roared in pain, his voice rising above the hissing of the velociraptor that had landed over his back and over the gun shots that were now stopping; Hank, Sean and Max having trouble seeing where the dinosaurs were hiding.

The velociraptor scratched Andrew's back painfully and the young man shouted out in panic and agony just as the motor of a car rushing away could be heard. The greenish creature leaned forward to grab Andrew's head when a shot was fired and the animal was pushed off Andrew with extreme force.

Andrew scrambled to his feet, the adrenaline kicking in, and turned to see the wounded velociraptor as it squirmed towards the tall grass to look for a hiding place and to regroup with the rest of her pack. Andrew turned to see Hank holding one of the hunting rifles in his hand and for a moment Andrew was grateful that someone had heard his cries of help before he realized that not only had they lost the prisoners but they had allowed them to take one of the cars.

"How could you let them get away?!" cried Andrew with anger, Hank glared at Andrew, finally having enough of this idiot who called himself their boss.

"I thought you had the girl under control" Andrew glared at him "Seems that you underestimated her, just like Hoskins"

"I am nothing like Hoskins" barked Andrew.

"Hardly doubt that" Hank barked back.

Andrew opened his mouth to speak when a shot echoed behind them, Andrew and Hank turned around to watch as Sean rushed towards them, horror written all over his face and as he got closer Hank and Andrew noticed Max rushing behind Sean just as half a dozen velociraptors emerged from the tall grass jumping like demons rising from hell and one tackled Max to the floor just as Hank grabbed Andrew's arm and started to run with Sean already running past them and towards the last car they had left.

"NO!!!" screamed Max with horror, but no one would ever know if it was horror of being left behind or horror of what the velociraptors would do to him or both. "NO!!!"

"To the car!" cried Sean, no one caring to look back to see what had happened to Max.

From the cover of the tall grass, she watched carefully as the first car rushed away from the pastures that had and would always be the perfect place to hunt; the rest of her pack waited in grave silence for her orders as they all watched two of the creatures communicating to each other in a rather aggressive way.

She wondered if they had a clue that they were going to take back the island that these strange creatures had so rudely invaded. For a few months now, she had seen them come and go and she had seen them killing down members of her pack and quite frankly she had had enough, these creatures were not like the ones that from time to time came and left eggs near the pastures and that they took in and waited until new members of their pack hatched from the gift from the creatures.

Her thick brownish neck turned to her pack as her dark eyes watched the two pale creatures talk and hissed with determination, her pack hissed back and they jumped from behind the pastures like a fatal rain and the screaming started once more; the screaming that was more like music to her ears as she slowly trotted from out of the pastures to get a glimpse of the pale creatures rushing towards one of the moving boxes.

"NO!!!" the last scream made the Alpha turn her neck to look behind herself to watch as one of the youngest members of her group grabbed the head of the pale creature and twisted it and the creature stopped moving and fell limp over the floor.

The Alpha chirped with pride as the young member made her first kill and the rest of the pack chirped back in a strange unison that Andrew and Hank and Sean heard as they drove away from the now destroyed camp site and after the fugitives and Andrew's love of his life.

But as the chirping died down, the Alpha hissed and clacked her tongue.

This was far from over.
