Bea opened her eyes, the hard floor had started to make her back hurt and there was an uncomfortable throbbing on her knees and palms of her hands where the glass had pierced into her after she jumped through the window. Bea rolled on her left side and stared at Lowery's sleeping form, his chest rising and falling and for a moment she wanted to reach out to him and touch his face just to make sure that she wasn't imagining him being there with her in such a horrible place.

Bea gently placed her hands under one of the pillows that she had found in one of the closets, she had found a blanket that smelled damp and had a few holes in; and as she lay on the floor she wondered how many times people had stayed inside that rest room and had used those pillows because they didn't seem old or rotten.

"How many people have come here?" thought Bea, her eyes focused on the wall behind Lowery, she bit her lower lip as she tried to guess what time it was. "Maybe four" she thought, Owen had once tried to tell her how the sky changed with the passing hours and she was almost sure she was right.

Although her body was aching with all the running they had done the day before, Bea found herself wide awake and with nothing else to do but review her plan in her mind until the first rays of sun started to filter through the crack of the door in the room.

With a grunt Bea pushed herself to a sitting position and crawled towards Lowery, the sooner she got out there and started her hike back to the beach the faster she would be able to return and get her injured friend out of that place; little did she know that her brother was hoping to get out of the boat as soon as possible so he could have Bea back in his arms.

"Lowery" whispered Bea, her friend grunted and shifted to his left side. "Lowery" Bea called once more, she reached forward and gently shook the tech.

Lowery grunted and then slowly his eyes opened and he looked at Bea in silence for a few seconds as his brain took in all that was happening and he frown and sat down rapidly; Bea smiled at him.

"What time is it?" he asked, his voice hoarse and dry.

"I think its around five thirty" answered Bea "Time to go"

Lowery didn't answer as he looked at Bea, she smiled at him and reached forward, her hand landing over his forehead so she could check if he had a fever or something similar.

"No fever" she smiled.

"I don't want you to go" Lowery said.

Bea sighed and turned away from Lowery to get her shoes and her back pack, she had to get going now and to be honest she didn't have time to argue with Lowery as to why she had to leave him there until she came back.

Bea smiled at Lowery, it had taken her around fifteen minutes to get ready and to reassure Lowery that she would be back for him soon; she had given him the radio in case it got a signal once more.

"Be careful" whispered Lowery.

"You be careful too" smiled Bea, she pulled Lowery into a tight hug "I'll be back sooner than you know, Low"

"You be careful" whispered Lowery into her ear, Bea let go of Lowery and turned around rapidly, her heart was pounding madly and she had a horrible thought in her mind that something terrible would happen.

Bea walked towards the window they had broken and stopped once she had reached it, she looked over her shoulder and found Lowery looking back at her; the pair looked at each other and shared a sweet smile as they said goodbye to each other silently and Bea turned to the window and pushed herself up the frame and then she was gone as she jumped off and into the wild.

Bea walked away from the tech center, her back pack against her back full of the granola bars she had saved and the water bottles, she walked rapidly and trying to ignore the voice in her mind that continued to scream at her to go back and stay there until help came, but to be honest she didn't know if they could find the tech center.

"If you aren't sure Owen will be able to find the tech center, how are you sure you are going to find the beach?" she asked herself as she reached the bushes she had pushed aside before she found the tech center "We ran so much, I have no idea where I am"

Questions flooded her mind as she walked down the jungle, a few feet away from her she could see the place where Lowery had been attacked by the Compys; the young woman walked towards the attack site and walked past it, marking with a rock the tree to be sure she could find the way home.

She wouldn't be able.

Owen jumped off and landed gracefully over the sand as Barry and Zach climbed down the raft that had taken them to the beach; energy was bubbling inside him, an urge to get his baby sister to safety was growing in him and nothing would stop him until he found her.

"A few of the big girls stay on the beach" explained the InGen guy that had taken the raft to the beach "You should be careful with them, they are fast and younger than Rexie"

Owen turned to look at him, Barry and Zach had the same expression Owen did "Son, I survived the I-Rex you people made, I think I can handle this guys"

The InGen guy looked at Owen, no expression over his face as he answered back "Yes, I know sir," he turned to Barry and Zach "But that doesn't mean you will survive these girls"

Owen glanced at Barry, his friend was frowning as he looked at the InGen guy but rapidly turned to Owen and walked towards his friend, Zach following in silence as the InGen guy got back on the raft to head back to the boat.

Owen and Barry walked side to side, Zach behind Barry as the InGen guy turned to look at him; he didn't know what happened in that island, he didn't know who Bea was or who Lowery was but if he was sure of something was that half of the InGen people that had gone to the island had not returned.

"The dinosaurs eat them" whispered the InGen guy as the three men rescue team got smaller "Good luck"

And Owen, Barry and Zach would need the luck just as much as Bea needed it as she crossed the jungle with a pair of black eyes watching her go the wrong way.
