It was about 8 years ago. I’m at school that day. I got a perfect score in our test. I was the cream of the crop in our class. Ako lagi yung nakakauha ng scores, nanalo sa quiz bees, and many more.

Everyone in school admires me. Lahat sila gusting maging ako. They even adore me because of my successive acheivements in school and even outside the school. They’re all proud of me. But.. only one doesn’t.

She envies me. She hates me. She wants to put me down. He wants to tolerate me. Why? Because she thinks I’m taking her crown.

Sa lahat ng bagay second siya.. ako yung lagging nangunguna. Sa school man at hanggang sa family matters, ako pa rin. She’s always next to me.

The girl I’m talking about is Zoey Terrero. Siya lang naman ang nag-iisang tao sa mundong to na alam kong sinira at sumisira at patuloy na sisirai ang buhay ko—my cousin.

They always compare us both. Mula pinanganak kami, ganyan na ang lahat. She tries to destroy my life at hindi siya titigil hanggang sa hindi pa ako bumabagsak.

“Hi Khaea! Wanna come to our house? My party mamaya. It’s my birthday. I would be glad if pupunta ka.” Cassandra invited me.

“A-ah. Happy birthday to you. Sorry.. but.. I can’t come. May project pa tayo sa science and I should finish it as soon as possible.”

“Eh. Pero diba next next week pa yun ipapasa?”

“Yeap. And kailangan matapos ko yun ng maaga.”

“Aww. Sige. Next time na lang. Bye!” saka na umalis si Cassandra.

Hay. I’m so tired. Gotta rest. -__-“
