Finns pov :
Ever since that Cody guy came to town Rachels not acting like her usal fun loving self she's been acting boring and mature. I really hate that Cody guy to be honest I mean he's so cocky and such an asshole and he treats Rachel like she's his slave. I really hate him but Rachel and I are just starting to be friends again and I don't want to ruin that by punching her douche bag of a boyfriend in the face. Tonights Rachels party for her birthday and Santana is throwing her a party . I got her a star and a Finn necklace but I think I might just give her the star because I brought the necklace when we were dating and I didn't want to give it up because it belongs to her . "Finn you're bringing the cake tonight right?" Santana asked me in the hall. "Yeah right." I said distracted by Rachel and Cody who looked like they were fighting. "Hello Finn are you there?" Santana asked me. I snapped back out of it. "Yeah what? " I asked her. "Whats go on with you? " She asked me. "Nothing just, what do you think of that Cody guy?" I asked her. "He's a total douche bag." She said blankly. "Why?" She asked me. She then noticed that I was looking at Rachel. "Oh I see , you still love Rachel. " She said. "Could you be any louder and no I don't she has a boyfriend. " I said. "Oh please I can totally see that inner boner you have for her." She said. "Stop it. " I said. "Just admit it you love Rachel , Finn. " She said. "Fine I still love her." I whispered. "But it doesn't matter she made her choice . She wants to be with Cody not me." I said. "Finn do you really believe that? I mean come on look at her she's miserable with that Chanum Tatum douche bag. Don't you think she rather be with you than him?" She asked me. I looked at Rachel and she had a frown on her face . "I don't know what she wants Santana. " I said. "Well I can tell you this that girl that you see standing there , that's not the Rachel I know and love and I think you know that too." She said and walked away . Later I arrived at Santana's house with the cake when I came in everyone was quiet and they were listening to the yellinh going on upstairs. "Whats going on ? " I asked Kurt. "Rachel and Cody have been fighting for an hour ." He told me. "About what ?" I asked him. "No idea." He said. Suddenly the door opened and out came Cody and Rachel. Cody grabbed his coat and left Rachel standing there. She folded her arms and looked at all of us , "He just , he went out." She told everyone. "Okay lets get this party started!" Puck yelled trying to change the subject. I looked at Rachel and she had grabbed her coat and went out on the front porch. I sighed and Santana looked at me and said , "She needs you Finn, she needs her hero." I grabbed my coat , two beers and Rachels present and Rachels present and went out side. I saw sitting in the gazebo on the bench that swang back and forth. I went out into the snow and to the gazebo . "Need a beer?" I asked her. She looked at me and chuckled, "Yeah that be great. " I sat down and handed her a beer and she opened it and took a gulp. "So what are you doing out here all by yourself?" I asked her. She looked down and said nothing . "Cody and I got into a fight." She finally said. "I know, well actually I could here the yelling from upstairs. " I said. "You know over the summer he was this great , sweet guy but now he's a ....." "total douche bag?" I said finishing her sentence . She nodded , "That about sums it up. " She said. "Well what it make you feel better if I gave you your present early?" I asked her. She smiled and nodded. "Okay." I said and then pulled an envelope out and gave it to her. "What's this?" She asked me. "Open it and find out." I told her. She smiled at me and open the envelope revealing the certificate. She smiled as she read it and looked up at me. "You named a star after me?" She asked me. "Well actually I named it after me . Because theres already a star named Rachel Berry and she is sitting right infront of me." I said. She smiled and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you thats the sweetest thing anyone has ever given me ." She told me . "Theres one more thing." I said. "What more could you possibly give me?" She asked me. "Well , this actually ." I said pulling out the box and opening it. She looked at me memorized, "Oh Finn its beautiful. " She said. "I brought it when we were together I can always change it to Cody. " I said. "No. I love it. " She said. "You do?" I asked her. "Of course I do. But what about your girlfriend? " She asked me. "You are my girlfriend Rachel you always have been no matter what." I said. She smiled and said, "Put it on me ." She told me. She turned around and lifted her hair and I put on the necklace. "How does it look?" She asked me. "Beautiful, " I told her ,"As always." I added. She smiled and said, "How is it you're always there to pick up the peices when I need you the most?" She asked me."Simple, " I said, "I'm your hero remember. " I said. She smiled and said, "That you are." She told me. We then had a moment and I then said , "Come on lets go back in its freezing out." I said. We got up and started to walk. "What did you suspect its December. " She said nudging me playfully. "Shut up." I said joking.
