The next day
(McKinley High)
Finns pov :
I was in the choir room teaching glee club when suddenly the door opened . "Daddy!" Emily yelled and ran into my arms . "Oh Emmy what are you doing here ?" I asked her. "Suprise!" She said. I smiled and kissed her cheek. "Hi Finn." Someone said and then my smile faded away.
Rachels pov :
"Hi Finn." I said walking into the choir room. He looked at me chilled and suprised to see me. "Class dismissed. " He said and everyone quickly ran out. "What are you doing here Rach?" He asked me as we sat in the park while Emily was playing on the swings. "I've asked my self that question when I saw your face. You seemed suprised. " I said. "Well yeah I mean you didn't really give me a warning. " He said. "I wanted to suprise you. Well Emily did. She really really missed you." I said. "I missed her too." He said. I could tell something was wrong. "Finn , I'm sorry." I said. "For what?" He asked me. "That night. I shouldn't have slapped you . I was just angry because you were right. " I said. "Rachel as nice as that is I just don't think we belong together anymore. " He said. My heart broke, "What?" I asked him . "Rachel it wouldn't have worked , you live in New York and I live in Lima . Were on completely different sides of the country. " He said. "You know I got the lead in Funny Girl. " I said. He smiled , "I knew you would." He told me. "Thank you for pushing me to do it." I said. "I didn't push you , you did it all by yourself. " He said. "I should get going , Emilys bedtime is soon." I said. "Hey if um you guys wanna stop by tomorrow and we can get lunch or something like that here's my address." He said handing me a peice of paper. I smiled gave him a kiss on the cheek and said , "Thank you," I then walked over to Emily "Come on sweetheart it's getting late." I said and we left.
