Chapter 31
Rachels pov :
I got back to the apartment with Emily to see that everything was nice and neat . "Mommy," She said . "Yes Emily? " I asked her. "Who was that man at our door this morning?" She asked me. I froze and ready to tell her the truth the doorbell rang. "Once second honey." I said to her. I walked to the door and opened it. "Finn. " I said suprised to see him again. "Rachel , hi , I um , I think I left my wallet here." He told me. "Can you come back and get it?" I asked him with the door half shut. "No I kinda need it. " He said. I rolled my eyes and said , "Fine hurry up though. " I said and let him in . "Who are you? " Emily asked Finn. He paused and looked at her.
Finns pov :
"Who are you?" The little girl asked me as I walked in. I looked at her and paused . In that moment I knew it was her , it was my daughter and she was beautiful just like her mother. "Emmy this is Finn Hudson an old friend of mine. " Rachel said . "Nice to meet you Finn , I'm Emily Rose Berry ." She said putting her hand out. I could tell how much she was like Rachel. She was proper and neat . I walked over to her bent down , smiled and shook her hand , "Nice to meet you Emily Rose Berry, I'm Finn Christopher Hudson." I said. She chuckled and smiled , she had Rachel smile and personality, and my eyes and nose . "Finn was just getting something sweetie." Rachel said. "Right I should go get that." I said getting up. "Mommy can Mr.Hudson stay for dinner?" Emily asked Rachel. "Honey I have to work tonight." Rachel said. "I can watch her." I said. "No thats fine , Uncle Kurt is going to watch her." She said and then suddenly the phone rang. She sighed and picked up the phone , "Hello?" Rachel said. "What do you mean you can't babysit?" She asked him . "No its fine I'll figure something out." She said and hung up. She then looked at me , "Can I talk to you in the other room?" She asked me. I nodded and we went into her room . "So it looks like Kurt isn't going to be able to babysit because Blaine is sick. I know I'm probably going to regret this , but can you please watch Emily tonight?" She asked me. "Sure of course. " I said. "Great here." She said and handed me a list of phone numbers. "This is my cell, work , and Santanas number if you need anything at all just call , I'll leave pizza money on the counter . Emilys bedtime is at 8 o'clock she usally reads a book though first , her favorite is Cinderella. " She said. "Okay. " I said. "Now I need to get dress but please just don't screw this up , you're my last option. " She said . "I won't now relax and get ready for work." I told her and left the room . "Okay Em, I'm leaving." Rachel said 20 minutes later in her waitress uniform. "Bye mommy , I love you. " Emily said giving Rachel a hug and kiss. "I love you too," Rachel said and then looked at me , "any problems just call me and I'll be home in 10 minutes. " She told me. "Don't worry how hard could it be to watch a five year old?" I asked her retorically. She sighed , "Just watch my kid and make sure nothing happens to her." I said. "I will no go." I said. She smiled and said, "Thank you." And she left. I looked at Emily and said , "Okay Em what do you want to do first?" I asked her mistakanly . She smiled and said , "Lets play horsey!" And she jumped on my back .
