Are You My Mommy?

A/N: THE IDEA IS NOT MINE! I JUST WANTED TO MAKE AN IMAGINE LIKE THIS! I DONT KNOW WHO WROTE IT BUT I AM GIVING YOU 95% CREDIT! THE 5% IS MY IDEAS

I ran through the maze doors into the Glade. All of the Gladers were surrounding the box, including my boyfriend of two years, Newt.

I ran over and walked beside Newt. "Hey, Love." Newt said, kissing my cheek. "Hi." I smiled. Gally opened the metal covering to reveal a little girl who looked about only two or three.

I pushed Gally aside slightly, because he would scare the klunk out of the poor, scared, confused girl. I jumped down into the box and squatted in front of her. The boys looked in to see what was going on. I smiled up at them, and then back down at the girl. "Hey, sweetie. It's okay. We're not going to hurt you." I said to the little girl who was cowered in the corner. After shaking in fear, the little girl smiled. I opened my arms to pick her up. She gladly ran into them. I stood up and handed her to Newt. I crawled out of the box and took the girl back in my arms. "Do you remember your name, honey?" I asked. "A-Ava." She said, burying her head in my chest. "I'm scared. They look scary." She said pointing to the boys. "There's no reason to be. No ones going to hurt you." I said, stroking her hair.

"Are you my mommy?" Ava asked.

I went silent for a minute while everyone in the Glade went wide eyed. I smiled down at her. "Yes. I am your mommy." I said.

Ava wrapped her arms around me and hugged me. "I love you, mommy." She said into my shoulder. "I love you, too." I said.

Ava pulled back. "Wait. If I have a mommy, I have to have a daddy. Don't I?" Ava asked, her blue eyes sparkling. "Your daddy's right here." I said turning her to face Newt.

The smile on his face was like a little kid on Christmas. "Daddy!" She squealed. Newt took her from my arms and hugged her. "I love you, daddy." Ava said to Newt. "I love you too, Princess." Newt said kissing her forehead. Everyone in the Glade smiled and went back to work. "You're our princess." I said, smiling down at Ava. "Let's go get your room set up. You're gonna stay with Mommy and Daddy." Newt said. Ava smiled at him. He put her down gently and she took his hand in her small, fragile one. She grabbed my hand and we walked together to the hammocks. There were two hammocks in the room already for Newt and I. I grabbed another piece of material and hung it up to the ceiling, making a hammock. "This is yours, Ava," I said. I grabbed a pillow that was stuffed with straw and a blanket made with cheap material sewed together. Ava smiled.

Soon after Ava met everyone, she was a ball of energy and full of curiosity. She was already full of sarcasm thanks to Minho.

The sun had gone down and everyone was sitting next to the fire. I sat with my legs crossed with Ava's small figure in my arms. Newt sat next to me, smiling down at our adopted daughter. 'I'm going to take her to bed.' I mouthed to Newt. He nodded, kissed Ava on top of her head, and kissed me on the cheek.

I walked to our room and set Ava in her hammock. I covered her with the blanket, which she immediately curled up with. I kissed her on the cheek. "I love you, babygirl." I said, smiling. "I love you too, mommy." Ava mumbled. I smiled and walked back out to the other Gladers. I took my seat next to Newt and he wrapped his arms around me. "I told Alby. He wasn't very happy at first, but he's okay with it now." Newt whispered to me. "I'm happy about that." I said smiling. Soon enough we both went to sleep. I crawled in my hammock, along with Newt. He wrapped his arms around me as I laid on top of him with my back to his chest. We both fell asleep shortly after, but were awoken by feeling something crawl into the hammock. I looked down and saw Ava laying on my chest. I smiled up at Newt and he returned the smile bank. He wrapped his arms around the two of us and we all fell asleep.
