"Krista, please. I don't want to become one of them," Newt cried, tears flowing down his face that was covered in cuts and bruises. "I can't. I won't. Newt, I love you so shucking much." I cried. Tears that were welling up in my eyes gave way and flooded my face. "We can go back to the van. I can tie you up. Please. Just come back with us." I pleaded. "No. I don't want to hurt you. Kill me!" He yelled. I shook my head 'no'. He picked up the gun that was lying on the floor. "Kill me or I'll do it myself. Do it. Please, Krista. Please." Newt cried, holding the gun to his temple. "Newt! Don't you shucking get it?! I'd die without you. I love you so, so, so, so, much. I can't even tell you how much I shucking love you. If you die, I'll die. Now, please. Just put the gun down." I pleaded. "How can you love a Crank like me?" He cried, resting his finger on the trigger. "Seriously? I don't care if you're a Crank or not. You are the same Newt that you were in the Glade. You are the same Newt that I fell in love with when I came up in that shucking Box. I'll never stop loving you. We can find a cure. Just put the gun down, Newt," I cried. I took a step towards him and took the gun from his hand, not breaking eye contact with him. I placed it on the floor beside me. I placed my hand on his cheek, wiping his tears. Newt wrapped his arms around my waist. "You're my cure, love. I'm so sorry." He cried into my shoulder. I pulled away from the hug and smashed my lips to his. Our lips moved in sync and I felt the fireworks go off in my chest. We pulled away from he kiss and I noticed that his skin color was turning back to his normal one. The veins that were popping out went back to normal. And all the bruises, cuts, and scratches disappeared. "You're gonna be okay. We're gonna be okay." I cried into his chest.
