Struggles (Book One)

Cute Date

Deonne’s POV:

It was finally Wednesday and I wasn’t the only one who was nervous. Youngjae was in my room pacing back and forth waiting for me to finish getting ready. He had been ready for about half an hour.

“Should I wear flip-flops or converse?” I asked Youngjae holding up a pair of my green flip-flops and a pair of my blue converse with green laces. He gave me a confused face.

“Why does it matter if you look good? Isn’t this date thing for me?” He asked.

“I’d still like to look good.” I pouted. He rolled his eyes and sighed.

“Ok then. Go with the converse, it will match your shirt better anyways.” I smiled and thanked him as I slipped on some socks and shoes.

“Ready babe?” I asked looping my arm into his.

“I have been for like ever!” I rolled my eyes and lead him out of my room.

“There is no need to be a drama queen hunny.” I nudged him and we both laughed as we made our way into the living room. Yongguk was sitting on the couch with Zelo on the floor in between his legs both watching a war movie, Jongup was next to Yongguk playing on a hand held game, and Himchan trying to read, but I caught him stealing glances at his lover and sometimes Yongguk. I wasn’t sure where Daehyun was, but knowing him probably in the kitchen.

“Where are you guys going?” Himchan asked when he noticed us as he was looking over at Yongguk. When he spoke, everyone turned their heads towards him, then to us. Zelo raised an eyebrow as he noticed Youngjae and my arms linked together.

“We are going on a date.” I smiled.

“A date?” Daehyun asked as he walked out of the kitchen with a bowl of rice in his hands. I knew it.

“Yes Hyunnie~. We are going on a date.” I leaned over and pecked his cheek. “We will be back before dinner. Bye! Love you guys!” I exited the door hearing some “byes” and “love you too’s” and one particular “a date?!” from my jealous man. As we walked to the coffee place I recommended, I texted Luhan and told him we were on our way.

Him: Ok! We will be there soon, Baekhyun is taking forever! to get ready. :)

Me: No worries! We will wait, but don’t make us wait too long! :)

10 minutes later and Youngjae and I had arrived. On our way to the coffee place, people kept giving us loving glances and I heard some people say aw. Youngjae was very handsome and I was lucky to be accompanied by him, but my heart was still and always will be with Daehyun. Plus Youngjae bats for the other team.

“Let’s sit over here.” Youngjae says as he pulls me towards a booth. We sit across from each other and briefly chit chat as we wait for Luhan and Baekhyun.

“Do you enjoy being the pretty boy in B.A.P.?” Youngjae looks at me confused.

“I thought Himchan was the pretty boy?”

“Of course not! Haha, he might think so, but you are so cute and adorable.” I laugh as I reach over and pinch his cheek.

“Well what do we have here? Having fun without us now?” I looked up to see Luhan and Baekhyun standing next to us. I scoot over and Baekhyun sat next to me as Luhan sat next to Youngjae. I smile as a little shade of red is added to the cheeks of the innocent boy in front of me.
