Chapter 16

Hayes's POV
Maddie told me to call Cameron over for some reason but I just went with it. I started calling and Cameron finally answered.
"Hey man what's up." He said.
"Oh hey maddie wants u to come to the hospital." I say.
"Why is she in the hospital?" He asks.
Shit I forgot to tell him. I hope he doesn't freak out.
"Umm she got kidnapped and then stabbed by Nash." I say.
"What Nash would never do that and what the fuck I'm on my way." He says and hangs up.
Shit I also forgot to tell him that Nash kidnapped her twice. Uhh I'm a idiot. I was gonna go back inside until I heard screaming and saw Taylor running to the nurse for help. I rushed inside and saw Esmi there panicking.
"What's wrong what happened?" I ask a little confused.
"Maddie passed out, her dad told her that her cousin was Cameron." She says and I stood there in shock.
The nurse then came and put some air thingy in her mouth and she was back to normal again. The nurse then left.
"What do u mean cousin?" I ask and she was as confused as me.
"Well i really don't know her dad said that." She says.
Cameron finally came with Taylor and looked at me.
"Omg what happned to her why was she stabbed?" Cameron asks.
"Cameron maddie has been kidnapped twice been whipped and stabbed by Nash and her cousin mary." Taylor says and a few tears come out from him.
Camerons POV
Nash did tell me he had a crush on maddie but I didn't think he would take it this far to hurt her.
Maddie then finally started waking up.
"Omg your alive." Esmi says and maddie laughs a little.
"Hi Ca-cameron." Maddie says and I just wave.
"So what did u want to tell me." I say and she kinda looks at me little worried.
"Umm long time no see huh Cameron." A familiar voice says to me and I turn around and have the biggest smile on my face.
"I thought I would never see u again uncle." I say and give him a "man" hug.
"Well I'm here now." He says.
"Cameron meet your cousin maddie my daughter." He says and me and maddie look at eachother in shock.
"He is my cousin?" She say.
"She is my cousin?" I say.
"Yup." He says.
"Oh well hi umm cousin? I don't know by the way do u remeber about the crash about your mother?" She says and I get a little confused.
"Yeah why I would never forget." I say with a bit of tears.
"Well the person who hit her was me and my cousin mary." She says.
All this anger all of a sudden came to me but I just broke down crying.
"It wasn't your mothers fault or our fault it was a stupid truck and we crashed into eachother, I lost a part of my memory and blamed everything on her cause I didn't remeber her, and she went to jail." She says.
I'm on the floor right now and I feel awful.
"I'm sorry." She says with a few tears.
"Bu-but why would u even go with your co-cousin in the first place." I stutter a little but then the anger came back to me.
She didn't answer.
"WHY!?" I yell at her and her dad comes to me.
"Don't talk to my daughter like that." He says and I walk out angrily.
Esmi's POV
Well that went well. I looked at maddie and she was crying.
"Maddie u ok?" I asked her.
"No because I know she would never forgive me." She says.
I hug her but carefully because she got hurt real bad today.
"When do I get out of here?" She asked.
"The doctor says to stay here for awhile until they think u look or feel better." I say and he nods.
"We'll come back tommorrow maddie ok?" Taylor says.
"Ok." She says and he kisses her on her forehead.
We all then leave.
Maddie's POV
I feel horrible, even better I feel awful. Why did I have to go on that car ride why am I so stupid and didn't stand up for myself?
All these questions and still no answers.
They left a while ago and I feel lonely. All of a sudden Shawn and Mathew walk in.
"Hi madd-" Mathew cuts Shawn off.
"OMG your alive!" He says and makes me giggle.
"Oh my god u been hurt badly I still don't get why Nash would do this?" Shawn says.
"He is jealous that I'm with Taylor." I say.
"Well jealousy is a bitch sometimes now isn't it?" Mathew says and we all laugh.
"Oh I knew u were alone so Mathew thought that I could sing u a song to make u feel better." Shawn says and makes me smile.
"Yeah sure." I say.
"SONG TIME." Mathew yells and everyone shushes him from outside.
"Well geesh people have some respect to a man who like songs." Mathew says and makes me laugh.
"Ok this song is called Stitches, I wrote this song cause my girlfriend broke up with me but I still think u will like it." He says and I just smile and nod.

He gets his guitar and starts playing.

"Well night night." Mathew says and hugs me carefully.
"Goodnight Mathew." I say.
"No bedtime story." He says pouting.
"Not today."I say and he gives me puppy eyes.
"Fine Once Upon A Time there was kid that had to go home leave her friend alone to sleep, the end." I say and he looks at me confused.
"That's no story, I'll rather ask my other friend to tell me it." He says and walks out.
"Bye Maddie feel better soon." Shawn says and I wave goodbye to him.
