"Um hi, I'm really shy so If i start to mess up you know why but Hayes happy 18th birthday um I don't really know what to say because I was forced up here by two idiots and yea but um where do I start. You are my best friend, i love you to the moon and back and billion times more. we have had our ups and down and most of them have been over and done with. You are one of the best things in my life other than the twins and nothing could ever change that. You are like my safety place, or happy place what ever you want to call it. When ever I am sad or upset you are always there for me and I don't know what I would do with out you to cheek me up even if all you did was poke my cheek or act mad with me and pout like a baby just so I would smile again. You have never stopped loving me, because if you did we wouldn't be together but since you never stopped I don't plan on stopping either. I don't really know what to say anymore and I'm sorry if none of this makes sense but I love you Hayes and surprise I'm kind of pregnant."

the last thing I heard was I'm pregnant and people started cheering...

Hayes' POV

After I heard what she said and processed it in my head I was happy, but upset because she didn't tell me before.

I started to push pass people I don't even know and walked out of the house, she called my name many times but i never turned back to her.

I started to walk down the shore of the beach as she ran after me.

"Hayes wait, please." She said grabbing my arm.

"why didn't you tell me?" I asked and she didn't know what to say.

"I was going to but I wasn't sure if i was or not." She said and I removed her hand from me.

"Hayes are you not happy? I would have told you but i wanted to be positive about it so you wouldn't be excited if I really wasn't." she said stopping me from walking.

"I would have been happy either way and you should know that after everything we have been through. You could have told me earlier that was the reason why you kept saying no to me and you know I would have understood that." I said and she looked down.

"I just wanted to surprise you Hayes, I'm sorry." She said and I started walking again and you guys might think I'm over reacting but if you were me and your girlfriend didn't tell you about her being pregnant you would be upset to.

"When did you find out?" I asked turning to her.

"maybe a week ago." She mumbled which made everything worse because she kept it from me for a week, I would have calmed down a bit if she said a day or two but a week is a long time to keep that from someone.

"Really a week, you kept that from me for a week, I can not believe you right now." I said turning back around.

"No I was going to tell you the day we went to the zoo but you told me to shut up because you were mad so I just waited for today and now you are yelling at me about it and I'm sorry I wanted to surprise you about it and I'm sorry I waited but why are you mad?" She asked in a normal tone of voice.

"Because you didn't tell me for a week and you just ruined my whole birthday." I said but I was just over reacting and she didn't ruin it but I'm mad.

"I will go home then, bye." She said walking away and I sighed

"Maddie wait, you don't have a ride home."

"I will call a cab or something." She said taking her phone and calling somebody.
