Hayes' POV
"Happy Birthday." Everyone yelled pouring freezing water on me which pissed me off but I realized it was just for fun but now the bed is soaking wet.
I sat up and looked at everyone while wiping my face many times because water was dripping out my hair.
"Happy birthday daddy." Jr yelled jumping on my lap.
"1 2 3 happy birthday to you..." Taylor yelled making everyone jump in.
After Maddie walked in holding a cake and I blew out the candles.
"I want cake." Noah yelled climbing on the bed.
Maddie cut them a piece then looked at me.
"Hey, can I talk to her alone please?" I asked everyone and they nodded taking the kids out with them.
When the door closed she looked up at me and i looked down.
"Whats wrong, its your birthday. Be happy." She said grabbing my cheeks them kissed me.
"I am happy, I just dont feel like being bothered today." I said
There was a knock on the door so I opened it and told who ever it was to come in.
"Hey can I get the kids swim suits, you two can just meet us at the lake." Matt said and i nodded.
"Watch Jr, he will run into the water, and so will Noah, just please keep an eye on them." I said and he nodded the walked out closing the door.
"Well, here since you dont really want to be bothered. I just wanted to give you your gift." She said handing me bag.
"Thank you." I said opening it and it had a lot of home made cute things.
I pulled out a jar of kisses and opened it and on the inside of the top it said 'kisses for when im not around.' I then pulled out a a stack of envelopes that said 'open when...' then it would finish the phrase with something like 'when your having a bad day'.
I pulled out a car that said 'I like your face' and smiled at her and the last thing I pulled out was a box.
I looked at her weird then back at the box.
"Open it." She said and I started to unwrap it.
I slowly opened it and what was inside brought tears to my eyes. It was literally a box of pictures but the first picture I saw was when we first met. I lifted the picture up to look at the next but they were all connected and it was like a time line basically.
