Chapter 21

Maddie's POV

When I woke up it was like six something in the morning and Enya was screaming at the top of her lungs.

I got up and walked over to her crib and tripped over one of the dogs.

Why the hell do they lay in the middle of the room all the time.

"What are you doing?" Hayes asked me sitting up.

Getting the crying baby out her crib because you didn't get up like always.

"I tripped." I said getting up and walking to her crib. I picked her up and rocked her for a bit then changed her diaper.

I made her a bottle and sat on the bed next to Hayes.

He went to sleep again and just as I was about to lay her back in the crib the twins started yelling.

Hayes sat up and walked out the room and I followed behind him to their room.

I rolled my eyes at him because he never gets up when Enya is screaming and he is closer to her crib but as soon as the twins yell he is out of the room with them for like ten minutes and I'm up for hours at night with her.

He didn't even ask what was wrong with them he just picked them up and started to rock them back to sleep.

I watched as he whispered stuff to them until they stopped crying.

He laid them back down in their beds then gave them both a kiss.

He turned and looked at me then grabbed my hand.

"Let's just go lay down, they are going to wake up soon. You know they wake up really early, we are lucky they went back to sleep because they never do." He said after closing the door.

I walked behind him back to the room and laid on the bed. He laid down and I sat down next to him.

"Lay down." He said and I turned to him.

I laid down and started to feel pain in my stomach.

It better not be that time of the mouth because I don't have time for cramps.

"Hayes my stomach hurts." I said and started to rub my stomach.

"What do you want me to do about that?" He asked and I signed turning the other way.

His attitude is getting on my nerves.

He laid back down and I went back to sleep because it was the only way I wasn't going to feel any pain.

Later I woke up and I was really hot and sweating.

Hayes wasn't in the bed anymore so I got up and walked into the bathroom and did what I had to do then went back to the bed.

I picked up my phone and it was twelve o'clock already.

I felt my head and it was burning.

"Hayes." I tried to yell but my throat started hurting really bad.
