Chapter 17

Later that night

Hayes' POV

when I woke up Maddie was still sleeping and I still didn't feel good.

I sat up then got out of bed and went down stairs.

Danna was asleep on the couch and I just left her there and went into the kitchen.

I wasn't sleep that long because it was only seven.

I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the island.

When I was done I went into the kids room and woke them up.

"Jr come use the bathroom before you pee on yourself." I said looking at him standing by his bed.

He shook his head walking over to the toys.

I sighed walking over to him. I grabbed his hand pulling into the bathroom.

"Daddy, I don't have to pee pee." He said pulling his arm away from me.

"I don't care Jr. Just try to use the bathroom. We do this everyday and you know you have to go to the bathroom when you wake up so sit down and pee." I said trying not to yell.

"Daddy stop yelling." He said grabbing his toy Micky Mouse. He hugged it while standing by the tub.

"Fine you don't have to use the bathroom but if you pee on your self your getting in trouble." I said and he walked out and sat on the floor by his bed.

I sat in front of Noah and wiped his butt off and put a pull up on him.

I let him go play and Jr walked over to me and I looked down at him.

"Do you have to pee now?" I asked and he nodded.

I let him walk into the bathroom and he sat down. I took his pull up he wore to sleep and threw it away and got a new one for him.

When he was done I cleaned him up and all that then picked him up.

"Come on Noah, its time to eat." I said is said putting him on my other side.

I walked down the hall to our room and woke Maddie up because I still don't feel good but they have to eat something.

When she stood up I walked out and went down stairs with them and sat them on the kitchen floor.

They crawled over to the dogs and played with them while I made Mac and cheese for them.

"Hey, what do you want me to do?" Maddie asked wrapping her arms around my waist.

"I don't know yet. I just needed you to get up just in case I didn't feel good again. Go wake Danna and ask her if she is hungry." I said and she nodded walking out.

"Skylynn, come down stairs to eat." I yelled and she came down minutes later.

I made the kids plates and leaned against the counter.

"Hayes are you okay?" Maddie asked walking down the stairs with Enya in her arms.

I really wasn't feeling good at all and I felt like I was dead.

"No, I'm going to go take something. I will be back later." I said walking up stairs to the medicine closet and took something out that Maddie usually takes.

I took two pills out and put them in my mouth then went into the bathroom and put some water in my mouth and swallowed them.

I went into our room and laid down for a bit then when I started to feel better I got up and went back down stairs.
