Chapter 30 (Final Chapter)

Hayes' POV
Later.

"Daddy wake up." Noah said touching my face.

"What's wrong Noah?" I asked.

"I hungry. You get me food." He said.

"Yeah, we can go to the lunch room right now." I said fixing my hair.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked picking him up.

"Chicken." He said putting his head on my shoulder.

"Okay let's go get your socks on your feet." I said taking the socks out his shoes.

"I want walk daddy."

"Are you sure?" I asked and he nodded.

"Don't let go of my hand." I said and he nodded.

We walked out of the room and I lead the way obviously.

When we got to the cafeteria he turned his head at every sound around us.

"Come on, let's go get your chicken." I said picking him up.

I walked over to a random part and order chicken tenders for him.

"Do you want fries?" I asked and he nodded.

"Do you want ketchup or barbeque sauce?"

"Barbeque." He said and they made him a tray.

I got him a juice out the fridge thing and got me a water then I paid for everything and I told him to hold his juice.

When we got to the room I put the tray of food on the table and put him on the bed again.

I grabbed his food and opened it.

"Daddy, my eye itchy." He said rubbing his eyes through the gauze pads.

"Don't rub them." I said

"Here, eat your chicken." I said handing a piece to him.

"You not put sauce on it daddy"

"I'm sorry." I said grabbing it off the table.

I put it over his chicken and fed him when he needed me two.

There was a knock on the door and his head turned so fast towards the door, he could have broke his neck.

"Its open." I said I said and he turned his head back to me.

"Hi Daddy." Jr said running to me as Maddie walked in with Matt.

"Hey Jr." I said picking him up and he looked at Noah who was just sitting there.

"Why brother eyes cover?" He asked.

"Because his eyes are swollen."

"Why?"

"We don't know why Jr. It just happened." I said and Maddie picked up Noah giving him a hug and kiss.

"Mommy daddy sleep with me." He said and she smiled kissing his cheek again.

"He did?"

"Yes mommy and he get me chicken."

"Did you eat it all?"

"Um I think I did mommy." He said and Matt sat in the chair holding Enya. His kids weren't here.

"Yes you ate everything." I said and the doctor walked in.

"Hey, the whole family is here." He said and I nodded.

"I have to reapply the medicine to his eyes. They should have went down some." He said putting on gloves.
