Chapter 18

Hayes' POV

When I woke up it was five something and I was the only one in the room.

I got up and fixed myself then went down the stairs and everyone was sitting on the couch talking and the kids were running around with a ball.

"Daddy wake up." Noah yelled running to me.

I picked him up and held him on my side.

"Daddy, mommy say we have cake now."

"Um no I didn't, I said after you eat dinner." She said walking into the kitchen.

"We get cake daddy?" He asked grabbing my face.

"Hold on, I will talk to mommy about that." I said walking into the kitchen.

"Hey, Maddie. You cane give it to them. They aren't going to eat dinner until like eight when Taylor makes it." I said and she nodded walking over to Alexis who was cutting the cake.

I walked out to where Matt was sitting feeding Paris and talking to Taylor.

I picked up Enya and sat next to them.

"So we are going swimming later, are you coming?" Taylor said and I nodded.

I kind of just sat off to the side because I was still kind of sleepy.

"Daddy, mommy not eat cake." Jr yelled standing in front of me.

"She doesn't have Jr, just go play." I said and he walked away mad.

I watched him walk over to Alex and they played with some toy together.

"Daddy I hold sister?" Noah asked walking up to me.

"Go sit down, I will Let you hold her when you sit down." I said and he walked over the big chair.

I got up and walked over to him and laid her in his arm.

"Don't move or move her, just sit there." I said sitting on the floor in front of the chair.

"Sister so pretty daddy." He said looking down at her and I smiled looking at them.

"I know Noah, she is a princess." I said taking a picture of them.

"Why you not call me princess?" He asked frowning.

"Because you are a boy Noah. You would be a prince." I said and he frowned.

"I be princess daddy." He said.

"But your a boy and-"

"You can be a princess if you want to Noah." Maddie said walking over to me.

"We are not going to force our kids to be something that they aren't okay?"

"But he isn't going to be a princess of he is a boy."

"Yes he can be and you are not going to change that. If your worried about him being gay or something then your going to deal with him being gay and support him so do you understand that we are not going to do anything to them so they will think they are doing something wrong with what they are doing."

"Daddy, I go play princess with mommy." He said.

I grabbed Enya from him and he ran off to Maddie.

"Noah you are a boy, you don't play princess." I said and Maddie looked at me.

"but daddy why?"

"Hayes let him be himself." Taylor said looking at me from the stack of movies.
