Chapter 9

Maddie's POV

I woke up in the waiting area in the corner but Hayes, Matt and Jr weren't here anymore. I crawled over to Nash and shook him to wake him up.

"Nash, wake up, please."

"Why?"

"Because Hayes and Jr are gone and Matt is too."

"Then call them."

"I don't have my phone, can you call one of them please?" I asked and he rolled over and pulled his phone out then handed it to me.

"Thank you." I said calling Matt because Hayes left his too.

"Hey Maddie." He said answering my call.

"Hey Matt, where are you guys?"

"In Noah's room."

"Why didn't you guys come and get me, or wake me up?"

"Because Hayes said not to so I didn't, just come to room 3a65."

"Okay, bye." I said hanging up. I gave Nash his phone and started to walk down the hall.

"3a60... 3a61... 3a62...3a63...3a64...3a70. What the hell, why is this hall numbered like this." I said to myself. I turned around and started to walk the other way until I walk passed some one who worked there.

"Hey, um can you help me find room 3a65?" I asked and the guy pointed to the door behind me like i was an idiot.

"Oh, thanks." I said and opened the door. Hayes and Matt looked up at me as I closed the door. I looked over at Noah laying in the bed and Hayes sitting on the end of the bed then walked over to Noah but Hayes stopped me.

"You can't wake him up, and you can't touch his left side. We just have to wait for him to wake up on his own, but we have been waiting for two hours now." He said holding me back.

"So we just sit here?"

"Yeah, didn't he just say that?" Matt said then rolled his eyes.

"What is wrong with you, I just-"

"Jr wouldn't leave him alone, and he is annoyed." Hayes said and I nodded sitting next to him.

"Mommy, brother not wake up. I want play with brother." Jr yelled crying. He ran, well wobbled over to me and I picked him up.

"Shut up, please, please, please. Jr just stop crying please." Matt yelled making him cry more.

"You don't need to yell at him, he is still a baby. You don't see us yelling at Alex when you come to our house and cries all day." I said and he got up and walked out, slamming the door behind him.

"Hey, I'll take him and walk around until he falls asleep." Hayes said taking him from me.

"No, I want you to be in here with me when he wakes up. Please stay, I don't want to be alone." I said and he nodded sitting back down.

"You look tired, you should go to sleep." I said

"I can't, I have to wait until he wakes up or I will wake up like five minutes later." he said and I nodded.

We sat in silence for almost five hours, and I'm am being so serious. For almost five full hours we sat and listened to Jr small snores as Hayes held him on his chest.

The silence was soon broken by Noah, he wasn't crying or yelling but he was moving around then turned and looked at us.

"Daddy." He said quietly. Hayes walked over to him after handing Jr to me, then picked him up with out touching his side then held him.
