THIRD PERSON'S POV

Malalim ang iniisip ni Lance. Hindi pa rin siya makatulog at kanina pa'y panay ang kaniyang pagbalikwas sa kaniyang higaan. Bumalik sa kaniya ang sugat sa dibdib ni Rain at ang dumadaloy na dugo mula rito.

Hindi rin nagtagal ay bumangon siya at bumaba sa gym ng bahay. Hindi na siya nag-abalang magsuot ng boxing gloves sapagkat hindi niya iyon kailangan. Mano mano ang mga suntukang pinapasukan nila sa B.A.N.G. kaya't hindi na iyon bago. Wala pa sa kalahating oras, may nagbukas ng pinto.

Pumasok ang ate niyang si Ki kaya naman nagpatuloy na siya dahil kilala naman niya ito. "I'm not really sure if I'm going to say this but," panimula ng kaniyang ate. "Then don't," walang emosyong sagot ni Lance at patuloy pa rin sa mga suntok niya. Tumutulo ang butil butil na pawis niya sa mukha at maging sa buong katawan niya.

"I've never seen you act like that to a girl," may pang-aasar sa boses ni Ki. Hindi pa rin nawala sa pokus si Lance at mas pinatindi ng kaniyang mga suntok. "Ace was looking behind when you carried her out," sa huling pagkakasabi ni Ki, nasobrahan ni Lance ang kaniyang suntok kaya tumagos ito paloob sa punching bag.

Sinamaan niya ng tingin ang patay malisya niyang ate. "What do you want?" direktang sabi ni Lance. Tilq hindi kasi titigil si Ki sa pang-aasar sa kaniya. "Man up," iyon lamang ang binanggit ng dalaga at tuluyan nang umalis. Sumalampak naman si Lance sa katabing bench at uminom ng tubig. Hindi pa rin niya naaayos ang kaniyang mga kaisipan kaya naman naligo siya at tinungo ang B.A.N.G.

RAINS POV

"Don't you dare leave young lady," he said with a grim face but I gave him a glare instead. He, then, threw a dagger at me but good thing I was able to dodge and so, it hit the headboard.

That's my dad right there. He just threw a freaking dagger at his daughter's head even after getting shot. Well, it's not your typical father-daughter relationship. In this household, expect for the worst. I also can't help myself throwing laser eyes to the man standing six feet away. It's pin, obviously. He called this hag. "You have no idea what you're getting yourself into," satsat ni Dad. "Give me a break," I rolled my eyes and was about rest my head on my pillow but he suddenly went like a machine throwing shirukens. Kaya naman napabalikwas ako at iniilagan lahat ng ito.

Hingal akong nagsquat dahil pakiramdam ko bumuka na naman iyong sugat kong kakastitch lang nila. Ngunit hindi nagpatalo si Dad at ibinato abg isang kunai ngunit hindi pa iyon umaabot sa akin nang may kamay na nakahuli dito. Walang imik na namagitan sa lahat.

Dad left and all that remained was me and Pin. He placed the dagger he just caught midway in the air on top of a table near him and walk towards me to get me up. Binuhat niya ako at ibinalik sa kama.

He hasn't talk since he got me out of the Jubilee. One of the people I couldn't read their mind is this guy. He just showed plainly. Who cares? I just want to get out but with the stitches and this guy right here, I think I can handle it.

"Don't even bother," he said firmly. "Tss." Nahiga nalang ulit ako. It went silent in a moment. "You are so stupid." I literally raised an eyebrow with him saying that. He stared at me and I just couldn't believe my eyes. Forget it when I said I couldn't read his mind. It was all over his face. I'm quite taken a back. "You were nearly killed." Why do I feel like he is going to roast me bigtime. "Tss. No I wasn't."

"If we haven't installed that fucking GI-45, we won't be able to get you out." He literally sound like somebody else's dad or was it just me? Damn. I got goosebumps. "Tss. As if."
