I woke up back in my hospital bed. Tubes came from all directions. I felt mopey and tired. I opened my eyes. I looked at my shirt there was a tube coming from underneath it. I lifted up my shirt. It was coming from my heart. There were tubes under my nose to help the oxygen get to my heart faster.

"Honey, are you awake?" my mom questioned softly.

"Yes." I answered quietly.

"Honey, I have some bad new for you." I looked at her concerned, "the leukaemia is spreading, they found that out in the surgery."

"NO! NO!" I sat up, I was in shock. I was angry. Too angry to cry. To sad to not cry. "WHY?"

"Honey! Honey! Calm down! We can make it through this."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE? You are not in this with ME!" I could feel the angry tears streaming down my face, soaking it. My moms face frowned she was upset with me. She got up walked to the bathroom and locked the door behind her. I am not sorry, at least not right now.

I punched the side table of the bed. Almost causing my phone to fall on the floor. I grabbed the phone and pressed the home button. A bunch of text messages of concerned friends popped up. I didn't want to answer any of them. I put up my phone down.

I wish I could get out of bed and just storm off, but I cant.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Why is my life always life this? My mom was still in the bathroom.

This is my life.

This is my battle.
