"What happened?" I woke on my hospital bed wearing a hospital gown, tired, dizzy and confused.
" you passed out.when you were jumping up and down because of something called "Taylor swift tickets." " nurse Sheri stated using air quotes around 'Taylor swift tickets'. I smiled at the thought.
" wait! Why did I pass out?" I questioned sitting up a little in my bed.
" the doctors said it was because your body was exhausted and needed to sleep." She smiled . Good. Nothing to serious. " and honey. The doctors need to give you more bone marrow today. That where you mom went to give hers so that you can use it later." Uggggggg! I hate getting more bone marrow! It hurts more then anything I had ever felt before I had cancer.
"Awe." I frowned. With my remark Sheri left the room, while my mom entered.
" oh! Good your awake! I was starting to get worried!" She said running over to me and kissing my forehead. " my leg hurts like crazy." She stated showing me the bandage. I winced at the thought of that pain.
*****
"All done sweetie." The nurse told me as she put the bandage on my leg. I was crying a bit, but I am pretty good with pain, since I have gone through a lot of pain, over the past few years.
"Yay." I said not to happy, but just glad it was over.
My mom picked me up and carried me to my room. It's a sad thing when your mom can pick you up when your 13 with no problem. Me weight is not something I am proud of.
As soon as my mom sit me on my bed she came up with an idea, " how about you make a bucket list of things you want to do in your life before you die? You know just in case."
"Ummm okay?" I made a list on my phone.
ELLA'S PHONE
--------------------------------------------
Bucket list
-go horse back riding on the mountain side
- walk the holly wood walk of frame
- throw a huge party
-dance in the rain
- model for a major company
-meet talia <3
------------------------------------
As I listed those I smiled to myself. Sounds good, I thought.
I heard a knock on the door around 9:30 pm.
" come in!" I yelled. In walk Sheri with a huge smiled on her face. I looked at her quizzically.
"I have good news! "she practically sang.
"Spill it!" I said giving her my full attention.
" you get to go home tomorrow for a week!!"
"Yippee!!!!" I sang, as my mom picked me up and span in a circle, like a farther would do with his two year old.
