The nurse walks into the room and hands my mom and I the bowls of fruit. They had whip cream on top, yum! I'm going try to eat this whole thing. It's a sad thing when your 13 and still too small the shop in teenage stores, blue notes, stitches, and like everything! I am stuck in the child's section.
"Thank you!" I smile at the nurse.
"Your so very welcome." She smiled back as she left the room.
I ate some of the fruit until I was feeling full, which was about 5 pieces of fruit and some whipped cream.
"Honey, try to eat more." My mom said concerned.
"I can't," I said, I couldn't stop the tear that was now rolling down my cheek, "why do I have to have cancer? Why me? Why not someone else?" The tears came pouring out of my eyes, one after another.
My mom stood up and came to my bed to give me a hug. " I know sweetie, I know." My mom soothed me, "Everything happens for a reason." The tears stopped. I guess she was right I have to be strong so I can dance again.

Sheri, the nurse, removed the IV from my arm.
"Finally, it's off!" I said joyfully. I looked at the the place where the IV had been, dried blood is all that remained." I am going to go to the bathroom to wash this off." I walked into the bathroom connected to my hospital room and washed my hands and arm.
"Honey! I have good news for you! We can leave the hospital for the day!", my mom spoke so gleefully.
"Yay!" I literally was jumping up and down, "What are we going to do?"
"We should go to the mall!" I think my mom likes leaving the hospital as much as I do!
"Ok!" I got dressed in high waist purple shorts and a tank top. I added gold hoops and a long gold chain. I usually put in a lot of make up. Just like Talia , because it makes up for the hair I don't have.
I walked out of the washroom. My mom was already.
"You look nice!"
"Thanks"
"K, lets go!" My mom cheered.
