****Nicole's POV****
"Hi mom and dad." I said in a soft voice, as they embraced me. my mom stayed strong for my, like how i stay strong for Ella.
"How's are beautiful girl doing." she rubbed Ella's arm. peering down on her face.
"Sound asleep." I sighed." I called her friends they are coming tomorrow,to say good byes and hangout."
"There are always miracles, nikki, there is hope and there is god. god can do amazing things. all we can do now is comfort Ella and pray." I nodded. a few soft tears slid down my face . my mom embraced me for a while. my dad sat on the edge of Ella bed, even though silent I could feel his comfort. he held her hand. " we should take lots of pictures when she is awake. just in case." my mom gave me a soft smile."
" Oh mom sorry I never thought about sleeping arrangements. For you guys, and 4 of her friends for tomorrow night."
"Well, we brought an air mattress, and I could get Tom to pick up a 4 single air mattresses at the store.could you tomTom? no answer"tom?"
"Yes I could defiantly do that." his eye were damp. he was holding Ella's hand. my eyes watered. he kissed Ella on the cheek and left the room with keys in his hand.
"Wow." I said to my mom." there is so much love in this room it's actually comforting." my mom rubbed my shoulder.
"Mom?" Ella's eyes opened slightly. my mom and I rushed over to her side.
" Yes honey?"
"Nothing. I just woke up. hi grandma. where's grandpa.?
"He went to the store. to get 4 air mattresses for tomorrow your 'besties' are coming." she used air qoutes on besties.
"Mom, I not sad about dieing. In the words on talias joy it's the circle of life." she drew a circle in the air with her skinny little finger. " but I still don't want to die, but, also in the words of talia joy, my body is in gods hands." she smiled a toothy smile. it made me smile as I kissed her in the nose.
"That's right honey." my mom told her. I nodded.
"Wanna eat somthing?" I ask Ella. she shook her head.
"No. no, I can't even think about eating."
"What about a drink." my mom chimed in.
"No grandma I don't drink." she winked. making all of us laugh." I, oddly enough want a slurpee."
" I will go get a slurpee then. 711 or MAC's?"
"711 please, my first ever slurpee was from there."
"Ok, anything for you dear." she left the room.
"What do you want to do?"i asked her.
"Post a pic on IG."
"About what?"
"About everything mom."
"Ok" I passed her her phone with maybe a million text messages on it.
"I will answer those after." she pulled up the camera. I back away so she could take the picture. she grabbed and pulled me back next to her." smile!" she said playfully. She typed for a long time. "ok and post."
"What did you say?"
"Just everything that's happening and to pray for me.thats all. now I have to answer those texts." she fiddled on her phone until my dad appeared in the door way with four small boxes. " hi papa."
"Hi munchkin!!!" I dropped the boxes and ran a hugged her. " what are you doing laying around here, lazy bones?" he winked. Ella and I laughed.
"What do you think? and by the way I am to weak to stand up." she made it sound like a joke but it was the truth. they laughed while mom brought the slurpee.
"Thank grandma."
We watched a movie and then went to bed it was late. Ella fell asleep. I could barely sleep. I spent the night watching her like someone was gonna snatch her up in a bundle in leave.
"Oh Jesus please save my baby."
