We walked to the elevator. We both raced to press the button, just like grade school kids. Maeve won. We both laughed as we walked in.
There was two little girls with bald head and no eyebrows giggling. They connected their best friend heart necklaces together, awe so cute.
"Are you going to miss me when I go to heaven?" The one little girl said to the other. I stood and stared. What was she talking about?
"Of course I will! How much longer do you have here?"
"The doctor said I only have a month left." How was that little still smiling when she said that. My eyes swelled up, I looked at her, her eyes were too.
"Don't worry, I will be there..." The little girl used her fingers to count " five mouths! We are going to be best friends forever!"
Right then and there I started to cry. Little waring sighs. Just tears. Maeve wasn't crying. But the pain was in her eyes.
The elevator doors opened the two girl skipped out.
"Wow! Just wow!" Maeve looked over at me and said.
"That's a pretty intense conversation for little girls to be having." I said as if I were an adult.
"Yeah totally, but don't worry about it." What did she mean by that. Don't worry that I might die? I questioned the question in my head, but didn't want to say anything. I just stood there and half smiled.
"Ok this is our floor!" I said excitedly. We stepped out and walked to my hospital room, trying to forget the little girls.
"Wow! Pink! Just like your room at your house!" She said sitting on my pink duet. "Hey, Jessica!" My mom was so cool she did not make my friends call her ms.
"Hey Maeve!" My mom came and hugged Maeve I think Maeve was my moms favourite out of all my friends, which I like.
Last Friday night
Yeah we danced on table top and we took to many......
Maeve played music from her iPod, it was the perfect song for a Friday night.
"James is at his fathers restaurant with a couple of his friend he invited us to come, do you want to come?"
"Ummm....." I kind of get insecure around guys, I have no hair, and am way too skinny.
"Awe gurl, it will be fun!" I heard my mom say.
"Yeah, come on Ella..."
"FINE!" she defiantly persuaded me.
Maeve showed my mom the address once we got in the car. Once she drove us to the restaurant we got out and said goodbye.
"Call me when I should pick you up!"
"Kay!" I called back!
God please help me!
