I fell on the cold hard ground.
"Dance or die!" I heard a voice yell. Scary, dark music played in the background. I stood there for a minute in shock. I started to dance my best. When I kicked, my leg went high up in the air. I twirled. I leaped. I danced my heart out, until my hair started falling out clumps at a time until I was bald. I danced through it. I got tired and I wanted to stop, but I kept dancing. My heart hurt. I fell on the ground and fell asleep never to woke up.
**********
I woke up screaming. Not because of my terrible dream. My heart hurt, it hurt a lot.
My mom ran over to my bed, looking really worried. She hit the button on the side of my bed.
"Honey? What's wrong?"
"My ...heart!" I could hardly breath. I held my chest in pain. Tears sprinkled my eyes. My mom was having a hard time breathing too. She paced back and forth, she dug her nails into her arm. She was really worried. She was panicked.
"What's wrong?" Nurse Sheri came into the room worried. She looked at me in the hospital bed.
"Her...her... Heart hurts!" My mom answered as I held my chest in pain. My mom was scared for my life.
"I'm getting the doctor!" Sheri rushed out of the room. I sat there scared. My heart pounding in my chest. Beating faster then ever. I counted how many seconds it took for the doctor to get to my room. 42. 42 seconds.
He entered the room with a stretcher and some sort of machine attached to it. He and Sheri lowered me on to the stretcher and put an oxygen mask on my face.
"Let go of your chest honey." The doctor said calmly. I did as he said. He took my heart beat, "her heart is beating very fast. We need to get to the emergency room!"
All I remember from that point was being rush to the emergency room. Then doctors made me breath something that was suppose to make my fall asleep. I was scared. So was my mom, tears fell down her face.
I slowly drifted to sleep, but right before I was out cold, I could feel my mom kiss my head and say.
"Be strong Ella, be strong."
