|Chapter Eighteen|

Puttin' my defences up

I was just debating whether I should go and see my brother, if you remember the one that mother couldn't let me see. I got to grab his Name and Address; Carlos Dominic Miles, I can't wait to actually see my brother after all these years but he can't be as annoying as Ellie but I heard from looking him up that he is acting too, he apparently played Mr. Thor in the avengers but this I have to ask him about but THOR! THOR! THOR! Okay, am I alive? I loved this character so much but I never knew it was my brother in those films. Carlos where the hell have you been? I was more determined to find him now.

I rush out of my bedroom and grab my keys before heading to the address that my mother said that he would be but I don't know whether she was telling the truth now. 1 hour later, I find myself sitting outside the front of this massive mansion unwanted ones out, I slowly get out my car and head over to the gates. So do I call him from the gate or wait? I begin to rethink this at the moment but I manage to press the call button at the gate and wait for an answer.

"Carlos speaking" I hear his deep Australian accent through the speaker and then I take breath before replying. "Carlos, It's me Gemma. I'm your older sister but I'm not sure if mum told you" I say clearly and then it goes quiet again which makes me worry whether he was told by my mother. The gates soon open and out comes my baby brother, he is much taller than me and has taken my dad's eyes, those blue eyes. I swear that I'm meeting just blue eyed people at the moment (I know I have said this before but I meant it).

"God! You have dad's eyes and looks" I say through tears that recently began to fall. I run over to him and hug him tightly and cry into his chest, "Wow, I didn't know that I upset you already" Carlos says with a chuckle which makes me look up and giggle too, "You didn't you goof! I'm just happy to finally meet my baby brother that I left two years before you were born, well during those two years." I say and laugh through the tears. He lifts my chin up which makes me look up into his eyes, "Don't worry, I'm going to do everything that I can to protect you lil' sis" I blush slightly and look back down but I'm soon connected to his gaze again as he begins to wipe away the tears.

"So I heard you are in the limelight at the moment?" Carlos asks me as we begin to talk about our careers, I laugh slightly and then answer, "Not really but yeah I'm currently filming on the walking dead and I have yet to finish Transporter 4" I say and then look down at my hands. "You played Thor? Right?" I ask just to make sure that what I read was correct, he chuckles and then nods. "Yep I was Thor in the Avengers, ever seen the films?" he asks back with a grin on his face. I smirk at him, "Of course, I love Thor! He is way better than Loki and all the others!" I begin to fangirl over Thor (Or my brother if you want to see it that way, only Thor not Carlos). "Loki or Thor? Hmmm" Carlos begins to think and then laughs, "I can't decide but I'm not going to get started though because I know some people that love Loki" he says and then laughs

"Who the hell do you know that prefers Loki to the jaw dropping Thor?" I ask teasing him, "Erm, Myla Scott, Andrew Lincoln-" "Wait! You know them?!" I ask in shock which makes him laugh. "Yeah I'm currently working with Myla on Sherlock" he replies and then I get distracted on how the hell does he know Myla other than Sherlock? How did she work on Sherlock? "Okay, now I'm curious Mister" I say slightly teasing and curious, "Andrew Lincoln well he picked Myla up one time and she introduce us and well Myla you were just told. She has only started the new season with us" Carlos begins to explain.

"What do you want to eat sis?" Carlos asks me as we are out having lunch together, I shrug my shoulders and I search menu like 50 million times before finding something. "Um..Something that has chicken in it, chicken pasta maybe" I say still unsure what I want though. Carlos laughs besides me and then begins to order our food, "What drink do you want?" "Just water" I turn around and take a lot at everyone in the store with us when I spot someone that I didn't expect to be here - Lily! I turn around quickly and then I walk to a table far away as possible from her which earns me a weird expression off of my brother.

"Something wrong?" he asks confused. I smile and then shake my head, "No it's fine. Actually it isn't but I will explain to you in a minute." I say looking back at him, I can't believe this bitch has a nerve to be here! Especially seeing as I'm with family member, I think she saw me as I see her getting up from her table in the corner of my eye. "The woman over there, she is a complete bitch! Cheats on her ex husband and then tries to kill me" I point out Lily to Carlos whose eyes soon widen at the last part. "Serious? She's a fucking slut!" my eyes widen but I laugh and I have to say I have to agree with him here.

"I think I should go and give her some medicine because no one gets away with targeting my lil' sis and gets away with it" he says looking at me before turning around and looking at Lily who soon notices and heads our way. I sigh and roll my eyes, "Oh hey Gemma! I haven't seen you for a while, how have you been?" Lily says as she sits next to me on purpose. "Fuck you! I don't have to talk to your cheating ass and I sure as hell don't need you to be near me after you tried to kill me!" I hiss back but try and keep my tone at a level so no one else can hear or see. Lily giggles and then flicks her hair in the air, "Gemma, darling that wasn't me -" she is cut off by my brother but she doesn't know who he is. "Lily, right? If I find out you are trying to kill my sister again, I will make sure that I will come back and fucking finish the job for you but on you" his tone is pissed and fierce that makes me feel scared of him at the moment.

"Sorry darling but this was between me and your sister" Lily says still trying to act all superior, "Leave her alone now! Don't come near her again or Norman, or I will make sure your death was so undercover that no one will give a shit about you" Carlos snaps back at her which makes her look uncomfortable and get up and leave without saying anything else, I sigh in relief. "Wow, you are so violent when you are angry" I say knowing full well that I was petrified by him, "Ha, I'm only protecting my family" he replies with a breath-taking smile. "Look, thanks for doing that. You didn't need to though because I would have handled it fine without you." I say but he places his hand on mine, "No one fucks with Thor" I giggle at his comment and look into his eyes. I'm so glad I have found him because I don't think I could cope without him..

I'm sorry for this chapter being slightly boring, I just wanted to have a chapter where Gemma does find her brother and you guys get to see what he like as a brother and hopefully in the next chapter will be more interesting than this one, anyways hope you enjoyed this chapter! :*
